The best fish and chips in New Quay - all year round

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough for the fish and chips. A well balanced menu of alternatives if you are not a fish person. Very good quality and service and great all year round.

I tried to avoid this place when it went under new ownership some years back, reason being it just never tasted the same and seemed to be run by kids who were constantly messing around. Today, I popped in to give it another try as the other chip shops were closed. Staff were fine but all I had was a... More

This is a no frills value for money restaurant. Always hot and served to your table. The faggots are brilliant as are the staff. Especially the older lady (sorry I dont know your name) shame on me. Highly recommended for a lunch. Fish and chips are great too.

The special,Small Cod ,chips and choice of peas, bread and butter, together with a small pot of tea at £5.95 was delivered freshly cooked piping hot and cleanly presented, definatly good value. This is not trying to be a fine dining outlet just a very good Cafe. Recommended.

This is a pretty average fish and chip shop and restaurant. Everything is reasonably priced and freshly cooked but it is nothing special - nothing imaginative or different that would give it any sort of wow factor.

Had a large cod chips and peas for lunch. Staff were very friendly and portion was a good size although some of the chips were just scraps. Not too pricey

On holiday in New Quay in September 2014 and bought a Pasty from a shop down the road from the Mariners and the rest of the family decided on Fish and Chips at the Mariners. When I saw the Large Cod, I had to try some of that bought by my wife.....wow, gluttony took over and I bought myself a... More
