Had a couple of coffees and toast looking out over the bay. The service was good and the price was good. Coffee unfortunately was poor. I would not go for food

We called in for breakfast and evening meal, we've been before over the past few years and always been looked after. Once again everything was great, we've got 2 big dogs and sitting outside was very comfortable, service was splendid and the food was excellent. On a cold evening it's easy to forget the 2 fools sitting outside, it's our... More

We sat outside in the sun, ate a beautiful meal and watched the dolphins - it was a truly memorable, lovely meal, the chef came out and chatted to us, all in all a magical night!

I have food intolerances and explained that I cannot eat most veg. This is a medical condition and not a fad. They so we're not very helpful. This is a quite expensive restaurant and I could not eat most of the food which was presented to me, and having explained what I could have I was ignored and not presented... More

All the fish is fresh and beautifully seasoned and cooked. Staff friendly and efficient. Puddings add inches to the waistline!!! You need to book to avoid being turned away, especially on a Saturday

As the weather was excellent, we sat outside and had Sunday lunch, the staff were young but very polite and attentive. The food was excellent, and a Sunday Lunch that your own Mother would be proud of, had a combination of the Lamb, Pork and... More

Have eaten here over the years and the food has always ben good. Visited a couple of weekends ago with my partner who has special dietary needs and the staff could not have been more helpful. Three courses, a bottle of wine and some mineral water came to about £90... granted its one of the pricier places to eat in... More

Lovely views from the outside seating . Food was excellent and the waiter was a very pleasant young gentleman . The only thing was the tea ! Very weak and didn't stay hot . Quite pricey but worth it

We were in New Quay with friends and popped into the Trout for Sunday lunch which was great. Plentiful meat and lots of hot vegetables. The 2 course lunch @ 12.95 was good value.
