Lovely coffee shop

A very good coffee shop. The food is decent and not expensive. The coffee is good although I would prefer it to be a little more strong. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good views from inside and out over the sea. Worth a visit.

I had been once before with my Dad years ago, but forgotten how sweet this little gem was. Fantastic setting even in winter and great for an afternoon pick-me-up. Friendly, great coffee and the redhead is fab fab fab.

After reading very good reviews about the afternoon tea we (myself and my daughter in law to be) decided upon this cafe for afternoon tea as a treat. The cafe was very busy but we managed to get a table after a short wait. I ordered afternoon tea stating that one of us only ate gluten free diet. The staff... More

Quirky little café with superb views out to sea. As usual had to stand and wait for a seat, a sign of its popularity. The quality of the food is very good and the mix of products is excellent, particularly the sorbet. What is disappointing is the extra 50p charges if anything is slightly different to the set tea. Having... More

Lovely location overlooking Cullercoats bay. Although it's fairly small the interior is stylish and comfortable. The staff are friendly but the service could be better! I visited with my daughter and specifically went for afternoon tea which was delightful! My only complaint was that the sorbet is included in the very reasonable price (£9.50) but we were told to ask... More

Beaches and Cream is located in the heart of Cullercoats and is placed on the main road with lovely views of the coastline. Inside, the cafe is cosy, but the tables have been placed to ensure some privacy. There is a good menu to choose from and cakes can be bought to take out. The customer service is very good... More

What a let down. No fresh cream cake selection. Selection of cheap scones & plastic cakes. We had short bread was awful, stale & no taste. Staff seem like they don't want to be there & no customer service. Seen more enthusiasm in a snail. Had a strange atmosphere & looks dirty. Shame as heard good things when first opened.... More

Always full with people queing for a table. There is an outside seating area for those lovelydry or sunny days. Everything looks and tastes like it has been homemade. We have also enjoyed afternoon tea at Beaches and Cream which was also delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed two between three of adults and there was more than enough to satisfy... More
