Best ice cream sundaes in the north east

We only live a short walk away and we did used to go for coffee and a slice of cake, however you know the ice cream sundaes are good when you find yourself having one in the middle of December. The service is attentive and helpful even when they are busy with people coming in from the beach. One... read more

I like this place but I have a few issues with it. Went here for the second time last week. I don't understand why the queue to pay is always so slow; ridiculously slow. Took 10m to process one order! I am disabled and, as I was by myself, the longer it takes, the longer I'm in pain and missing... More

We go to Beaches & Cream most weeks, I think you will find it hard to find a better Café. Yes you have to wait for a table (a good sign if you ask me) unless you're at the end of the queue.. Great comfortable surroundings with a lovely atmosphere. Again the menu is not vast but I say "do... More

Ate here last Saturday for breakfast. I had poached eggs on toast with a nice latte to wash it down with. I have to say every time I come here it is always packed, doesn't matter what time of day it is so you may have to wait for a table. I do think that it's a little pricey here however... More

Visited on a cold sunday afternoon but were greatly warmed up by both the service and the food. Had ordered an afternoon tea, Baked Potato and Cheese Scone and all 3 were extremely nice and very good value. Drinks were fine and overall a really good experience and we are sure to return.

I've never really understood the popularity of this place. Yes it's really clean, food good, stunning views but I find the service poor, the staff didn't apologise when we had to wait 30 mins for a simple breakfast. As a customer I actually don't mind waiting at all if there is a genuine apology or indeed the offer of a... More

We have visited this place many times....the food is usually good and the place clean and tidy. Whilst looking after our year old grandson we decided to pay yet another visit.....we asked for a high chair and one was delivered to our table......my husband and I decided not to risk the health of the child as this was the oldest...
