I was here just the other day as me and my partner were walking along the coast. We both got hungry very quickly on our walk and he thought this would be just the kinda place i'd love. He was right! I had a mozzarella and pesto chicken panini which was lovely (was about a fiver) and did have proper... More

We visit Whitley Bay often and like to visit whenever we can. It is often difficult to get a table and you can understand why. Lovely food, terrific service and great atmosphere. Maybe a little pricey but hey you pay for quality?! We've been for breakfast, snacks and afternoon teas and loved it every time we visit 😃 See you... More

We went here looking forward to a lovely lunch on the seaside. Not being from here I was looking forward to a different experience but unfortunately I was not impressed at all. I was wanting the soup of the day which they didn't have so instead I got a jacket potato instead. I ordered a Tia Maria hot chocolate expecting... More

So over-priced (one boiled egg with soldiers for £3.35) and super slow service. It took more than 10 minutes just for the hot drinks when the place wasn't that busy. Two people's food was brought, then the waitress served a whole other table before bringing the third person their single egg. Won't be back...

Ok so it's just a month late but me and the little fella finally got round to giving mammy an afternoon tea treat. We went to B&C on Friday afternoon and it was heaving.....we waited a few minutes for a table and ordered 2 afternoon teas. Firstly, I was a little miffed that it was an extra 50p to have... More

My sister, neice and I visited this delightful tea room for afternoon tea on a blustery August day. My sister had been given a gift voucher so when we arrived and found it full of people enjoying light lunches, drinks and ice cream we could see it was popular. The decor was a charming vintage chic and very welcoming, with... More

My wife and I visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was nice but a little expensive. We paid over £16 for 2 breakfasts which I thought was a bit excessive. The breakfast market is really competitive and there are cafés who serve food as nice for much less. The venue is great with a good view of... More

After a long walk popped in for coffee. What a great find. Although busy, found a table, ordered and very quickly were served. Friendly staff, Excellent coffee and superb coffee and walnut cake. Highly recommend it and if I'm back in that area I will return.
