Dog Friendly

Called in for a coffee after taking puppy for a walk on beach. Found staff very friendly. They provide water bowls outside for dogs. We had taken our own but this is nice to know if you need one. Cheese and Sun dried tomato scones were very tasty. Very busy as it was a lovely sunny day - extra... read more

Lovely location often too busy, not really enjoyed the teas, coffees or high teas, or cream teas, often looks good but rarely enjoyable. They get so busy the customer service suffers.

A great spot overlooking the sea at Cullercoats - we regularly visit for breakfast and are never disappointed val service and quality are excellent. We particularly enjoy sitting outside when weather permits

Looks a very pretty cafe that's obviously had money spent on it but at best the food was average... bread was abit dry and seemed to have cheap fillings, cheese and tuna were bland and the salads were lettuce, dry cucumber (pre cut) and tastesless coleslaw with no tomato. They couldn't go wrong with the drinks as they were out... More

Very popular café, the food is excellent and every thing is fresh and mostly home made. It does get busy as it is so good but usually only a short wait for a table. They do run out of the most popular items - scones and cakes - but usually have another batch in the oven which entails a short... More

frankly these negative reviews have no substance. hence why I have posted something that puts this place in a good light that it deserves. my visits have always been great. warning this place does get very busy but you don't wait too long for a table. the decor is vintage meets modern the staff are pleasant and usually running around... The location is great but we had an experience today that means we will never go back, and that's not a problem really as a little further along in Tynemouth, are far better places to go for coffee and a snack. My husband ordered me a mocha, can't go wrong with that you would think but when it arrived it... More

Usually a regular visitor here however after the last time I visited I will not be returning. Arrived here and waited around 20 minutes for a table, after being seated we went up to order our food to discover hardly anything was left in this case I ended up ordering a coffee which took half an hour to make. Surely... More
