Perfect in every way

So family run restaurant is a long-time local establishment. My favorite is the tue and Friday veg sushi set menu and the Japanese barley tea. They have great outdoor seating overlooking the mountains. If they have the chocolate mouse, be sure to get it. It's different but amazing.

they does not cook japanese food unfortunately. I went here 3 times lol though,it did not taste good at all. but sushi is a kinda good.

This place has the appreance of a small nondescript hole in the wall. But looks can be deceiving. If your focus is on stylish ambience this is not for you. This place offers unbelievably divine food. The ingredients are very fresh. The desert cakes are very light and with real milk cream. I highly recommend the roasted tea as well.... More

We'd show up on Fridays when they served an amazing tempura noodle soup. Total veg restaurant, if I'm remembering correctly. The atmosphere is very sweet, with a wonderful shop fill of handmade items.

Had lunch and dinner there many times. I like many of the dishes so it was always hard to choose. Sometimes the fried veggis were cold so I gave them back and I think they fried it again. which was ok for me. It's a cheap otion, I like the owner and when you stay in Mc Leod Ganj for... More

This family run cafe is the best place to dine in the town. Great atmosphere and the best food we had ever in the town. They have daily special menu that's worth single penny. There is something that'd probably catch your fancy for sure is that smile & welcome from the moment you step inside.

Lungta is one of my favorite restaurants in McLeod Ganj. The special sets are huge and very reasonably priced. Tuesdays and Fridays are sushi nights and the place is usually packed. There is an extensive collection of (mostly) Japanese books and a cute, somewhat friendly cat that's usually napping on one of the chairs. It's a real treat for vegetarians... More

Great little place with the fastest service I've ever seen and the prices are so low! My boyfriend really like the house curry. The sushi wasn't bad, but I did not like the miso. The fried rice was good. Their little lemon tartlets were also okay, kind of like key lime pies. The green tea was nice, usually I never... More

Ridiculously cheap vegetarian Japanese restaurant next to my hotel. I stopped by for an herbal tea to wait for my friend, but decided to try the Potato Croquettes with Salad - 80 Rupees ($1.30). They were great! The tea was 20 rupees (32 cents), bringing the total to a whopping 100 rupees ($1.62), likely the best value in McLeod Ganj... More
