I love Indonesian food!

Great Indonesian food... No doubt about what to order: the rijsttafel of course! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Food is served fast, and it's delicious.

We held a family event here for over 60 people. The restaurant was very accommodating and staff helpful. We had a buffet - the food was good, with a nice selection of the standard Indonesian meals. I would certainly recommend it and would happily go back to have a meal on a regular evening.

Last week we ate in the new refurbished Anak Depok. We love the atmosphere and the nice staff. Excellent dinner and nice bites! We will come back soon.

Good opportunity to taste Indonesian cuisine, good value for money. When I compare with Oriental Swan which we visited a day before Anak Depok, I would hesitate which to choose. So next time we probably visit both these restaurants.

When we are in The Netherlands we have to eat here! So this year we did also. And it was super again. Like we had in Indonesia. We had the Rijsttafel, (which is a Dutch invention) and was very good. But the portions were smaller this time and no Ikan (fish).

This is a superb Indonesian restaurant, where the quality of the food, the presentation and the service are all beyond reproach. The atmosphere is relaxed and prices are reasonable. Easy access by car, free parking and also by train from the railway station Den Dolder, less than 200m from the restaurant. Highly recommended.

"Anak Depok" means "a child of the protestant church in the surrounding area" (i.e., of Batavia, the capital of the former Dutch Indies). Here, typical Indonesian cooking has been taken to a high level, and this is joined by a highly interesting selection of wines. As many Chinese-Indonesian restaurants in The Netherlands do, you may take your left-overs with you... More

If you enjoy Indonesian food the way it is supposed to taste, look no further! This is so far one of the better places in The Netherlands that I have had the pleasure of eating Indonesian! We took our family there one evening and had the Rijsttafel, the variety, species and taste were truly devine! Great and friendly staff!

Located in a small town, Den Dolder, one needs to know about this restaurant. Otherwise you will miss it. No billboards, no signs. It is an Indonesian restaurant with a touch from the past. Indonesia was a former Dutch colony. When it became independant not only many Dutch people travelled back to Holland but also quite some locals decided to... More
