The food, I expected that they will cater and serve variety of food. But still the food was good. The people were good, very accommodating and smiling. Also entertaining.

Ride and river was very pleasant. That's where the positive stopped. Thankfully there was a lot of river. Food was not great but edible. Too loud music with too many American songs. Wish they sang more local songs to go with surroundings. Nice stop for dancing on bamboo. However, Stop at village was so touristy I had to ask our... More

My wife and I had a great time. We boarded one of several floating restaurants and were seated with several other tourists. It is a crowded area but we managed to load our plates with some decent foods. As the boat departed a guitar playing local began his set. We ate, listened to music and enjoyed the views. The boat... Ok, to start out: i will shoot myself in the foot before i ever go to this place again. That being said, the boot contained about 60 people and the only two who seemed to have a horrible time were us. So: Our point of view: we hate touristy stuff. And this is the mother of all touristtraps. The lunchbuffet... More

This is a waste of time. I gave it a 2star as if you had never experience a boat cruise on a river then you might enjoy it. The food was terrible and nothing to see at all along the way. They say there is a water fall along the way this is where you turn around to come back,... More

The food was horrible, but I want to discuss the overall trip. You start out eating a buffet on a long boat, covered from the sun. After the rude Koreans cut in from off you and eat all the food, you detach from the dock and float down the river. A local man sings some local songs and he was... More

If you don't mind being on a boat with 50 other people, Luke warm food, an out of tune singer, visiting a 'tribal village' where children who should be in school beg to have photos taken of themselves with a variety what should be wildlife trussed up with string and tape, including a terrapin with a specially drilled hole for... I'm a local so I visit Loboc every so often. My family and I always take River Watch because of its reputation. It's a good ride over-all, with good food, good entertainment. The Loboc river is certainly a gem! Best to visit when the waters are clear jade. It's quite stunning.

They have two menu options which tells you which barge you will be riding. Suggest you get the more expensive of the two. The price difference is not that big. The food was okay, the main attraction is really the scenery along the river. The minstrel was very entertaining. Do give him a tip when they literally pass the hat... More

This tourist attraction is nothing really special at first and the buffet lunch is average but when everyone is eating the floating restaurant moves out into the river and you go for a ride which is quite pleasant with entertainment too and you end up at a tribal village with music and dance to watch and interact if you wish....
