The young chef Maxime is absolutely great in the kitchen. It was the 2nd time I enjoyed his gastronomic creations. Situated in a small rural village we decided to stay overnight as well in one of the lovely rooms. We had a great walk in the snow in the woods surrounding the village where we encoutered wild boars and foxes.... More

My wife and I spent a weekend here for my birthday. Staying at "La Fabrique" (the restaurant also rents some apartments to stay upon your visit) was absolutely stunning and the restaurant itself was fabulous: the personal touch, the professional servicing, cosy atmosphere, excellent tastes,... All the awards are absolutely correct and taking that into account it is a really... More

Excellent restaurant! It's must be Michelin Star for Chef!!!! Indescribable taste - all the food is great! Delicacy! Service is perfect! Kind of attention we did not get in more than one restaurant in France! The waiter was a hero of our evening! Sparkling humor, attention and indulgence to all our whims!

A gem hidden in a tiny village in the southern Ardennes (Belgium). We had an outstanding lunch at Maxime. The looks of this restaurant are great, the place is decorated with good care and good taste, it's beautiful. In good wetter you can sit outside, but we had our dinner in the nice interior. Our 3-course lunch was prices €... More

Tasty, colourful, inventive, pure, fresh, light... we loved it! Exquisite appetizers while sitting in the loungy seats on the terrace next to the herb and flowergarden and looking towards a sunset over the hill. One of the cooks will regularely come outside and pick leaves and petals. We continued indoors in the modern, comfortable interior (couldn't keep my eyes from... More

This was an overnight stop on our way down to Italy; we were looking for a good dinner and a comfortable room. Our expectations were comfortably exceeded! We had the bedroom in the roof; which was perfect! The building both inside and outside is a quality and stylish (and I presume recent) restoration. We both ate the fixed price Euro... More

There are very few Michelin starred restaurants that offer the price/quality ratio of La Table de Maxime (the only other ones we can think of, are perhaps 't Stoveke, the Arenberg and Hostellerie Le Fox?). What chef Maxime Collard and his small team put on your plate, is at an exceptional level, served by highly competent, multilingual personnel (Dutch is... More
