YEP...IT'S THE TRAIN STATION!

You almost miss this place, just off the Segesta exit from the A29, because it has the railway logo over the door! However, the railway sold off the station to make money, and now it's a restaurant. We saw some good pizza go by, but elected to have antipasto and main courses, all of which were... read more

The food here is good enough and the value is excellent. Picture this. Saturday night and the locals are out en mass to enjoy themselves. Does it really matter that the food is not a culinary high but still really good- I think not. Would recommend it as s really nice country restaurant full of locals

Hungry after a visit of the Segesta temple and amphitheatre, we made a stop for lunch at the railway station. Unappealing from the outside we were wondering whether we should move on, but decided to have a look inside. Staff was very friendly and we took a table not expecting much. The food turned out to be great! Very tasty... More

It's a big place, with marble covered walls, with well laid tables. The servce is normal, the portions are on the poor side. The prices on the menu look normal. Whatever is on the menu is served without any veg or salad or fries. When adding the sides and Coperto, it's quite expensive.

We stopped here after a hot afternoon touring Segusta. I had pasta with shrimp and mushrooms. They used a special noodle named busiatc. Very clean and they have a gelato shop where we tried pistachio gelato. Pictures attached

We ate here one evening as it was near to La suite di Segesta where we were staying. The staff spoke very little English but worked to understand our limited Italian. The food was well cooked and plentiful and we enjoyed our meal.

In a former railroad station, this restaurant serves very adequate food at low prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The portion of frites is enormous and the frites were perfectly done. I had the breast of chicken twice in two days. The service is not at the standard of an international hotel, but you're deep in the countryside... More

We had arrived at Segesta at lunch time and saw the sign for here. They only had a couple of groups. We enjoyed our food - not the best we would have in Sicily, but good. The service was spotty and we had to track down the waitress a couple of times - when we were ready to leave, what... More

We just dropped in for a quick coffee before visiting the stunning archaeological sites at Segesta. We had the best cappucinos in the whole of Sicily. We discovered that lunch was served well into the afternoon, so we returned after our sightseeing and enjoyed marvellous home cooking at sensible prices. The station building is an architectural wonder in itself, but... More

Me and my bf discovered this unique treasure during a long weekend in Sicily, and I must say we simply could not stay away!! Everything was just so tasty and the staff were so friendly, that we smply had to try as much of the menu as we could. The pasta was the best I ever tasted, and the Mushroom... More
