Hidden treasure in the hamlet of Giuliano di Lecce.

Beautifully run restaurant in the tiny municipality of Giuliano, a village dating back to Roman times and then the 1500s. Beautifully run restaurant in the tiny municipality of Giuliano, a village dating back to Roman times and then the 1500s. Simple cuisine offering Apulian food and carefully preserving the authenticity of the local taste. I really enjoyed the "potato croquettes", "peperonata" and "parmigiana di melanzane". Interesting wine list showcasing the best wines of the Salento tradition. As the Fulana is... More

A very good typical antipasto assortment started dinner, accompanied by a good Susumaniello Salento red wine. Pasta dish for the primi was nice, the mixed grilled meats and grilled steak were good (though the steak had a lot of fat and gristle). Service was good and efficient. Dinner for two, with water, one bottle of wine, one shared antipasto misto,... More

not so easy to find the restaurant but worthwhile to visit this inn. Local traditional dishes are delicious, good service, reasonable prices

Like my grandmother from Salento cooking! Very welcoming staff, very good selection of traditional dishes and a good wine list. Strongly recommended if you are wishing to try a traditional place. (our grandparents are locals, so you can trust our judgement!)

The food here is fantastic. The antipasti are ridiculously plentiful and utterly delicious. The wine choices are abundant, and the staff is very knowledgeable about what goes well with what. The fig crumble is now firmly on my wish list of things I want for my last meal. That said- this didn't get a perfect score because we went here... More

The area is now full of restaurants serving "authentic" Salento cuisine, but it's often just poor cooking and low-quality ingredients. The owners of Fulana on the contrary do care and select the best vegetables, meats, wines and olive oil and the mother in the kitchen knows how to use them. All the traditional dishes are excellent, the hand-made pastas are... More

Really enjoyed our lunch here - nothing was too much trouble and they have a great wine list. Its actually in the little village of Giuliano - once you know that its easy to find!
