The food is ok but very small portions and quite expensive. Too much time waiting to be served. The waitress brought my food 3 times mistaken, yes, three times! They have problems with the heating, it was freezing inside.

After great reviews in Lonely planet and on Trip Advisor, we had to try this little gem. Great handling of our booking, and as suggested from the reviews, we sat at the chef's table and it certainly lived up to expectations. The food was fantastic and we even got to experience a 7-course menu being prepared for a high-end group.... More

I'm surprised about the reviews that this place gets. It is expensive and the portions are not generous. Granted, its location in the monastery square is very tempting. Still, there are better sushi restaurants around.

The food is great, tasteful and innovative although is quiet expensive. Nice atmosphere and local with very kind waiters.

I went to Zuka for a friend's birthday and, although the food was good, service was a disaster. We waited 10 minutes to have our drinks, and 15 more to place our order. We were five persons and did not ask tons and tons of food, nor special dishes: we had to wait on average 20 minutes between each course,... More

Sunday evenings are busy in San Cugat, but we were out early and got a table at the terrace. The sushi dishes were exciting and different from what we have had before. Tasty and delicious! Both banana desserts were delightful too, highly recommendable. On the negative side the noodle dish for one of the kids arrived 5 min before the... More

We went here towards the end of October and not having been to a Japanese place before found it a reall leasentbplace. Nice atmosphere. Really friendly waiter who did his best to translate or us as our Catalan/Spanish is limited. Was very pricey but lovely food. Would go again for. Special occasion.

I have been twice to Zuka, both times for the lunch menu and both times with business guests. The menu was good, price was a bit expensive, I guess, but not excessive and this is Sant Cugat!! Our waiters were ok but did seem a little uninterested, just really bringing in and clearing the plates. Dont expect conversations about cooking... More

The interior looks very modern, visitors sit around the area were the cooks prepare the sushi. The menu offers a great variety of japanese and asian dishes. This raises your expectations. But then comes the disappointment when they serve your food and it appears to be an average japanese restaurant. Acceptable cooking but nothing special, so I guess they charge... More

To be honest this is the first sushi restaurant that we have tried in Spain. We started with prawn tempura which was a little under cooked - 9 Euros for 5 prawns. We then had a share plate, that had some basic rolls, a few pieces of sashmi and nigiri- 23 Euros. A glass of house red was 4 Euros.... More
