I have dined at Casa Martell several times and I have to say to those who haven't: Do it next time you are in the area. The food is sublime, all locally produced and very well prepared. It is traditional dishes that are served up, so don't expect any modern fancy stuff or pepper steaks. But you can, however, expect... More

Was our second visit, during the last year at Martell; between another meals, we choose their boneless lamb, and marrow with fig sauce, sincerelly, a pleasure. A huge list of good wines.... Very good balance Price / quality. Is in our plans, go more times when we will be in Gran Canaria. Sincerelly, I can recommend this restaurant. Uwielbiam Martell,... More

Where do I began? The atmosphere of this little gem is so authentic and welcoming. The decor shows the restaurant's age in such a genuine way and serves as a museum for your eyes in between plates. The service is out of this world and their passion really shows in the way they treat their guests. The house wine is... More

We had a dinner for five, had 5 different tapas and main course. Superb authentic place and excellent Gran Canarian food! The owner was very friendly and explained how every meal was prepared. The restaurent has also a wine cellar where you can see hundreds of bottles of wine and some wine barrels. Besides the food, the wine was excellent... More

first of all, it's on your way up to the mountains, so it's not spoiled touristically, it's the real deal. and, hands down, the best six courses of incredibly tasty servings in my life so far. perfect!

After reading raving reviews about this place we decided to go here for dinner. We were a bit early bit this wasn't a problem. We were welcomed with a lovely ron miel and sat in front of the fireplace. We went with the specialty of the house and were served delicious dishes with great flavours: stuffed mushrooms, home made sausages... More

We heard from friends that this place was worth visiting and stopped for lunch. The waiter recommended the tapas (huge field mushrooms with stuffing, sausage with a sweet and tangy sauce followed with lamb, aubergine in a white fig sauce and deep fried potatoes). It was wonderful!! A bit pricy, EUR 30 pp with a beer but worth every cent!... More

A private museum as much as a restaurant. Very unique service and food. We went with the chef's recommendations throughout. Original dishes, all very good. A little too patronizing service? A bit pricey? Perhaps, but a clear recommendation from us.
