Our first visit here as we missed it on our previous Sanlucar trip. Taberna La Guerrita came highly recommended and we had an excellent meal. Our Spanish is poor but we made friends with a lovely waiter who spoke English and we let him order...food for us. We ended up with some plates that weren't on the menu and everything we ate was very good. Sanluca prawns were delicious, as was a tuna and potato dish. Our friend brought us Tapa Mojama, a cured ham-like tuna which I'd swear actually was ham. It was superb. Battered cuttlefish was so delicious we ordered a 2nd plate. There's an excellent range of sherries available and we let our taste buds be treated by whatever they thought we'd like which turned out to be a sublime Amontillado. Well worth a visit - lovely food, great people!More

Meeting a Dane in Jerez de la Frontera, who had travelled from Denmark to this place to taste their sherrys, made me curious. In an area of town off the beaten track it really was a special place. The decorations, local atmosphere, the sherry, the...tapas - it was a place to remember. We'll worth a visit.More

If you are interested in wine, culture, history, this is the place to be. Try the different Manzanilla, ask the wonderful staff for information and they won’t let you down!

This place is amazing, no wonder it's almost always full. They serve some sherries per glass. But, the best thing is that you can walk in to their shop, which is a monument to Sherry, buy a botle and drink it there. No problem at...all. Here you order at the bar and take the drinks and food to the table, if you were lucky and could find one :-), otherwise enjoy it standing at the bar. Tapas are very good, the staff is kind, they manage very well in the middle of all the noise and the crowd. Everytime we go to Sanlúcar we visit this place more than one time.More

Good place to taste some superior manzanillas, in a low key, friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. Tapas are excellent, well-curated. A bit more expensive than some of the bigger more mass market places, but superior quality. Really interesting sherries. Not many tourists, a bunch of locals, only...Spanish spoken.More

These guys run a tight ship. Beautiful little place with small tables and chairs, local tapas and fino and an all-round pleasant atmosphere.

Slightly of the beaten track and well worth discovering. Great local tapas bar with one of the best wine lists (one of the few, truth be told) in Sanlucar. Service is excellent and staff are very knowledgable on both the wines and the range of...Manzanillas on offer. Food is unfussy, fresh and authentic (and excellent value) - if you visit Sanlucar, visit der Guerrita (10pm and after for the best atoms).More
