Another favourite restaurant in sanlucar

We sat outside this time after several visits to the Victoria and again had a lovely tapas meal. We asked for an English version of their menu, and we were in stitches over the translation of their menu, some really funny words to the dishes, we did want to do our version for them, but it would... read more

I have had a morning coffee here once before but never eaten here and will not do so again. One of our group fancied trying the locally-noted toast with ham, mozzarella and basil so we walked past the always consistent Balbino’s in the main square to eat here in what is basically a side alley. It was a mistake. The... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Sanlucar. All of the traditional dishes are here and are delicious, then there are very creative tapas that you really can't find anywhere else. I have been here numerous times, highly recommend.

Next door to the Casa Balbino offshoot, but equally popular with local people. Good quality cooking, with large portions and a number of relatively unusual dishes. Not the best restaurant in Sanlucar, but we were happy to dine there twice this summer, and enjoyed both meals. Good value and always seems busy in the evenings.

We were on our way to the local market and stopped in for a quick coffee. We frequent this market but have never been to this restaurant before. It is a little off the beaten path but certainly worth the effort. My review is based on a limited experience but what I saw while sipping coffee impressed me. Food prep... More

Just off the main square (i think), this looks like a recent addition to Sanlúcar's myriad restaurants and bars. Clearly, it would be a fight for any new 'kid' on the block, but this one has a chef who can cook and as importantly source wonderful produce. Although by the end of the evening, my memory had succumbed mostly to... More

This restaurant is on a side street off Plaza de Cabildo, turn left past casa balbino. It's worth it! Similar food to the rest of Sanlucar but more choices, including food that kids might eat, more veggie choices than most, and apparently the best tortillitas If you like shrimps. So good that one bit was taken home for a treat... More

This bar offers a slightly different menu than other of the tapas bars in the nearby surrounding and this perhaps makes them the winner! Fresh fresh food, large portions, low prices. Do yourself a favour and try the salmon tartar on a layer of advocado cream...a spetacular experience!...also do not miss out on the pastel de filo delicias...just try it!... More

This place is on a pedestrian side street leading into Plaza Cabildo, opposite the Cultural Centre, Plaza Victoria. Reasonable amount of inside seating and plenty of outside seating so good for either option depending on if it is too hot or cold outside! There is waiter service inside and outside. Beer is served in large wine glasses. House wine is... More
