Extra friendly, helpful staff, we booked and ate in the dining room taking the 3 course Sunday menu which delightfully included coffee. Best shandy I have had in a British pub, lovely wine by the glass, Pinot gris for me and Shiraz for my husband, beautiful starters, home made potato and leek soup and whitebait with home made tartare sauce... Pleasant surroundings with very good food although unfortunately the gammon was not available. Staff attentive and friendly but we waited so long between the starter and the main course that we finished the wine! Perhaps it is a cunning plan to sell that second bottle.

Have now eaten at The Oak Inn twice and felt compelled to write review. First visit was with 4 friends and we ate from the Al La Carte menu. Very eclectic menu. Everybody selected a different main and no one was disappointed. The desserts were exceptional. Very attentive staff who were very helpful and knowledgable about the menu. Second visit... More

We went here as a treat from some very good friends of ours, and as we are not from this area, it was new to us and we were pleasantly surprised.A lovely place nicely and tastefully decorated, very pleasant waiting staff, where nothing was too much trouble, and best of all lovely food. Lovely warm focaccia bread, fab starters and... More

We were served with some really nice bread plus butter to start which was a very nice touch. Both of us had beef mine rare and my partners medium rare... More

En route from Malvern to Bucks, we wanted to have lunch before leaving the area. We pulled in here on the off chance and were not disappointed. The outside seating is in the car park overlooking the road, which means it doesn't have that idyllic rural feel. But the service was great, water brought for the dog without needing to... More

If you are prepared to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait for your food. Then be served without an apology for the delay (which means that they are used to keeping customers waiting) then please visit. But you've been warned!!!

What can I say. Three menu's to chose from all with varied meals at good prices. My wife had the pork belly and I had the faggots. Both were superbly tasty. The service was friendly and efficient.
