Great value for price

We went there for a traditional "calçotada" and it was great. They have a weekend menu for 25.80 that includes a good bunch of calçots with romesco sauce, a "cocido" with mea, and desert. After such a meal you can barely stand up! And it's so yummy!! Also, it's at the skits of Montserrat and the... read more

Nice genuin Catalan kitchen. Friendly staff. Best prices. We spent just 80 EUR having good lunch for 4 persons. Good vine and dessert as well. Owner also was really friendly person. He provided us a tour throurough all the rooms in that 18th century building.

Located just outside Collbato, nestled into the Montserrat mountain range. Large restaurant with plenty of space outside. Very popular with locals, also people from Barcelona coming up on Sundays. We went for a fixed set menu and local recommendations for cava and Rioja. Happy with the food, good quality. Right for the surrounding, bistro kind of feel.

This restaurant was recommended for lunchtime by local people. We spend out 26th wedding anniversary here, with our 4 grown-up kids and their friends. The food is all local, card only in catalan, handwritten and changed per day. We started with Cava, ate the (standard 3 course) menu with lots of choices. Since we don't eat pork or seafruit, we... No me gustó nada la comida. Prefiero pagar un poco más y al menos que sea algo más bueno. No lo recomiendo en absoluto. If you enjoy eating good food this is not the best place to go I am afraid. You'd better look for some other place, like 'el nou rovell'

This place is kind of off the beaten path and on a country dirt road, adds to the charm. The locals flock there for a reason, the food, wines and service is exceptional!!!! The owner is very outgoing and friendly. Take time to appreciate the surrounding mountains and olive groves. Don't miss the pig lamp, the owner has a special... More

Nice restaurant with awesome views in the middle of the catalan forest... so it, s not easy to get there if you don't have a car. Food is ok, without being so complicated you can eat lamb, sausages, and the traditional calçots (seasonable). I'd score a 3,5, but will round to 4 for the environment.

We had no idea what to expect when taken to this restaurant by some locals. Certainly, after bumping along a dirt track for a couple of km through a national park we were expecting the worst. What a surprise - a huge, booked out restaurant catering for several hundred guests, sitting in the shadows of the Montserrat mountains. Despite the... More

When we booked the Barcelona trip I wanted to do something different and see a little bit more than just Barcelona. I love the city and have been before and don’t get me wrong, I could spend days/weeks walking around happily exploring and eating my way around the city. I found a traditional food and wine day trip that sounded... More
