We had never been to Little Creatures as a family and were satisfied with the service and the food. There were 6 of us and we chose share dishes, all of which were lovely - some spicy, some vegetarian, some more bland. Beers were the order of the day - there is a boutique brewery there. I am not a... More

While having a terrific time on the Brunswick St strip at Fitzroy we called in to little creatures for a late lunch. There was great variety - pizzas were good - the flat breads with hommous very tasty - and the pie of the day was fabulous as the rain came down outside. The place has a great vibe and... More

We always eat at Little Creatures when we are in Melbourne and find the staff friendly and helpful. We love to eat in the cosy front rooms which overlook Brunswick Street. We felt the quality of the chips had really declined when we last ate there in late May, but, apart from that, enjoyed our meals. There is usually a... More

This place was the only restaurant open earlier than 6 on a Tuesday for food. Many of the surrounding cafés and restaurants only have food service after 6 for dinner. The atmosphere is nice although due to the high ceilings the place echoes a great deal once it starts getting busy. The good is tasty - the mussels are beautiful... More

turned up yesterday sunday lunch time with the family. Had looked on their web site and it says they promote spontaneous dining and accept bookings for parties of 10 or more. We rocked up to see loads of empty tables but were told were fully booked. Evidently you can only not book on a Saturday night. If you are going... More

On Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, this restaurant is a bit like the street upon which it is situated - quirky, fun and full of personality. Three of us had lunch on a busy Saturday and only had to wait a few moments for a table. We had two delicious pizzas between us - both were tasty and had a great crunchy... More

What a great place and concept. Bar, beer and food all in the one big hall. The Pale Ale and IPA are my favourites and my wife recommends the cider. We were told to try the Dutch carrots as a side dish and they were fab. With the crochets and salmon and beer we had a great lunch. The atmosphere... More

Walked in off Brunswick St to this huge space, different seating areas from the cosy fire to booths in the big 'shed' great range of locally brewed beers and ciders as well as old fashioned lemonades, presentation and service was excellent, would be a great place to take the kids as well as hang out on a Sunday afternoon with... Our first night in melbourne we stumbled across this treasure. Great beer, fab food selection and fun atmosphere. The bar had asked a local swing dance group to come alobg the night we were there to provide entertainment. Was a fun and quirky surprise! A great intro to a fun city.
