Nice place

Was in Binibeca for a week from the 17th October to 24th and visited the Smugglers for the occasional afternoon drink while on the way back from the supermarket next door which was ran by a Scots couple.. they were very accommodating and extremely friendly. We somehow always managed to go down... read more

The Smugglers stood out like a glowing beacon of English speaking friendliness and traditional British fayre. This type of establishment is not something I normally crave on holiday but we were starving and tired beyond belief after a long and stressful journey to our Binibeca holiday destination. I ordered yorkshire ham, egg and chips (the other half ordered sausage, egg... More

Found this bar when we were walking down towards the beech and it's a complete gem! The owners are amazing and the staff are so friendly. 5 stars for everything! Food, entertainment, drinks, staff. Finding this bar made our holiday and cannot wait to come next year :)

Just returned from another brilliant holiday in Binibeca - made all the better from returning to the "Smugglers"! Yet again we ate breakfast and dinner here every day, and you can't ask for better home-cooked meals, ideally presented, and which taste fantastic! Additionally the welcome that you get from John and Evelyn (and the girls that work for them), makes... More

If you're tired of tapas, cheesed off with churros and somewhat sick of sobrassada, try a visit to this little, decidedly English, restaurant at Binibeca Nou. John and Evelyn and their staff are delightful, even picking us up and taking us home when I mentioned my bad hip. The day's special, chicken wrapped in bacon, stuffed with haggis and cooked... We have been staying in Punta prima for around a week and have sampled many of the local restaurants which serve basically the same food all of similar quality. We looked on trip advisor and read the reviews on the smugglers so thought let's try it. We caught the train to the restaurant which stops right outside the restaurant on... More
