Plan to come here. It will be worth it

We went there on May 1st and had an amazing time. We started with some tropical Shandy and great music. The owner, Esther, is the one taking orders while her daughter brings the drinks and puts the music. The environment is typical of the area, with a "magical realism" hint. The house is a double... read more

Some friends took me there during a recent visit to Margarita and I was expecting the usual fried fish and arepas type of experience so I was surprised by this unusual exposure to culinary excellence in the middle of nowhere. The place is located in an old house in a small town called Pedro Gonzales in Margarita Island in the... More

As the owner dictates what she has in store to eat each day (not open at night) you might think, ohoh what am I doing here? I have nothing to eat? Weird, mixes weird fusion what can I say just taste it and you will be pleasantly surprised! Don't ever say no this can' be, it souds horrible, just "try... More

In a very small village in Margarita Island. In a very nice old hous with "patio". You fell there like a friend had invited you for a meal. Esther, the owner and the chef of the restaurant is the more friendly person you can find helping you in all. She cooks, she serve the tables, she advise you about everything... More

The owner of this Kitchen is a student of local cuisine using international techniques, Carmen has staged newspaper reviews. I would spoil your experience if I tell you more. Just go. My only recommendation is to book in advance, use a rented car to go there, try to go early in the evening as driving conditions are not so good... More

This place is a must for any food lover. Excellent food, all made with local ingredients, based on traditional recipes but with a very creative flair. Portions are generous and delicious. Esther - chef, owner, hostess, teacher - clearly enjoys what she does and gives each guest her personal attention. Quite an experience! It's best to previously reserve (+58-416-196-6052; +58-412-357-6322;... More

Esther is a warm and friendly gourmet cook, who creates original and delicious dishes using fresh local ingredients featuring local seafood and herbs from her own garden. The prices seem steep by Venezuelan standards, but a main meal would be about $12 US. Esther has transformed the elegant old Spanish style house into an interesting and comfortable space, with lots... More
