We've been drinking and eating at the Ouvane for as long as we can remember. Don't expect a gourmet meal - you get what you pay for! Some of the choices are tasty and good value, some can be a bit iffy. Chicken goujons are good, salad is always tasty, fish can be good or sometimes it can be overcooked!... More

Our group of 99 had no problem with seating at this restaurant. The staff were too busy to chit chat but did a good job of serving us all quickly. The mean was good but my beef was a bit tough. Those at my table who chose the salmon fully enjoyed it. Liscensed. Close to our accomodations at Ardnagashel Woods... More

Was passing by with the Family and decided to drop in because the view looked enticing, I wasn't disappointed, what a great place. Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us (3 difficult kids to feed) great garden for them to run around in and food was plenty and tasty. Would recommend it to anyone that's visiting West Cork.

We really enjoyed the food and live music. There were ten of us eating on the night we went and the service was very good. It was great value.

The restaurant is ideally situated but the food is a let down. Apparently the food used to be good hence our visit. Bantry Bay mussels in garlic were in water with a lump of garlic butter thrown on top, pan fried mackerel were small and stale and the steak and Guinness pie was red inside and tasted like spaghetti tomato... A group of eight of us had an evening meal here. The outdoor surroundings are beautiful but the dinning area didn't take advantage of the views. The service staff were friendly but not very well trained. The decor was dull and looked run down. Half of our group were happy with the meal and the other half were unimpressed. A... More

One of our treats when visiting the neighbourhood is Sunday dinner in the Ouvane falls. The no nonsense bar does a choice of traditional roasts (amongst other things) and the portions are always healthy sized, hot and tasty.
