Had a meal here recently. Food was fine, nothing special. Nice to be able to bring your own wine and they don't charge corkage which is great. Major downfall is the coldness. It was so cold on our visit that we had to leave our coats on and ask for a heater. Wrap up well if you're planning a... read more

Lovely venue, quirky, quaint with character Very good Italian food, priced in line with others. Take your own bottle if you wish for alcohol.

Generally a good place to eat in Roscrea. La Serenata has a fairly large menu of food, both Italian and more Irish, and the prices are quite good too, particularly the lunch and early bird specials. The place is spread over three levels, all quite small, though one room is large enough to accommodate larger groups. Service can be cold,... More

Lovely friendly restaurant. Excellent food and great service. No children's menu as such, but they do a small portion of whatever they want to eat. No alcohol licence but you can take your own.

This meal was decidedly average. We had received a recommendation from our hosts and thought it looked really cute and authentic. Unfortunately both dishes were sub standard, service was slow and it was quite pricy.

Have been several times and always been satisfied. Good value and a nice selection of dishes, in generous portions.

The outside of the restaurant looks nice. The inside was colorful and had lots of unique art. We were attended to right away and sat upstairs. The upstairs table is directly next to the bathroom door. I ordered the lasagne and my fiancé ordered the carrot and coriander soup with pizza bread (which come to find out is literally crust)....
