Sorry guys but for a £10 burger you would expect hand made and hand cut chips rather then a cash&carry / morrisons patty with kebab shop fries. Lovely place and beautiful setting but food not worthy of price

Stopped here for lunch on Sunday whilst visiting friends who live in the area. Couldn't fault it, we sat outside near the water and soaked up the wonderful atmosphere . The food was great and the service was very good. All in all a lovely place to eat.

Went there with a large group of friends. Nicely appointed restaurant with magnificent view of Oulton Broad. Good selection of food and nicely presented. However the service was very slow ant one of the waitresses a bit tetchy. The main course arrived in dribs and drabs and at least one friend, who had the sea bass, said it was cold... More

Like everything from the food to the view over the Braods to the staff. Couldn't fault anything. I suppose the lobster might have been a bot bigger!

Really like this pub, great atmosphere inside and a lovely big beer garden outside including tables going right down to the Broad. Fantastic for watching the powerboats on aThursday evening!

Having left Lowestoft years ago, I had a catch up with friends from years past. We used to frequent the Commodore years ago and it was an ok pub. It was closed down on previous visits to OB, but since the reopening and subsequent revamp it has turned into the place to go. Have visited it 3 times this week.... More
