The best cooked breakfast I have ever had!

I have been going to the Cats Whiskers for years for evening meals, lunch and coffee and cake. The Beef Straganof is a favourite of mine but every meal I have had has been delicious and the staff all very professional yet friendly and welcoming. Last time I went I tried the 'half' breakfast and... read more

If visiting Guisborough a lovely place for either coffee & scones, paninis, meals or whatever you fancy. I can thoroughly recommend the all day breakfast. Really tasty, freshly cooked and not at all greasy. All the meals are well presented and good value for money. The staff are friendly as well. Open during the day and evenings Thurs-Sat. A must... We've been here 2-3 times in the last month since finding it. Cafe that serves soup, baguettes, some cooked dishes, wraps, but all tasty and well presented. Also selection of cases, smoothies, coffees. Nice place to have a little bite.

Having had lunches here many times, it’s reassuring that it’s consistently good. And like myself, clearly many customers are regulars, which speaks for itself. Good service and food, even if the seating layout is a little cramped but they do what they can with the space available. On this visit I was a little surprised that by 12.30 two of... More

Visited the cats whiskers for an evening meal and was not disappointed. The menu is limited after 7pm but still adequate choice to choose from. Food was excellent really nice, we had a mushroom starter which was the best I have ever tasted and for main home made fish cakes and chicken Parmesan which we were really pleased with the... More

Discovered this bistro on our recent trip to Guisborough, we almost walked straight past, but very glad we didn't. My husband and I looked at the menu outside first and discovered lots of interesting and different dishes that don't usually appear on menus. We wandered inside to see if there were any spare tables, luckily we found one. Some of... More

This was a lovely little place when it first opened but it seems like they never change the menu . Also a couple of times it has felt like they were waiting for us to go so they could close - we didn't dare order dessert !

Selected one of the large number of daily specials from the blackboard (there are 3, and there's not enough room for them on one, so check each board!). I had a huge gourmet burger on a brioche roll, with skinny fries and 3 huge fried onion rings. It was served with BBQ sauce, coleslaw and a side salad, beautifully presented... More

Visited today for lunch. Husband had Cajun chicken wrap which he absolutely loved. I had the home made vegegatable soup with a gorgeous soft piece of bread. We were also given a sample of the red pepper and sweet potato soup which was also excellent. really friendly great place. Would love an excuse to hire it out for a private... More

Slightly subdued lighting makes it cosy & gives atmosphere. Good choice of lunches. We had 3 different sorts of wraps. Delicious & very well presented. We would definitely go again.
