As someone that has very sensitive gluten allergies, it was a pleasure eating at The Cats whiskers. I avoid eating out if I can help it. I happened to find myself stuck in Gisborough and had not prepared food before leaving the house, as I normally would. We had already looked at a few menus and my wife approached the... More

Had to return to Guisborough on Wednesday to pick up some dry cleaning which we had left the previous Wednesday. Following a disastrous lunch in another Guisborough establishment I was slightly hesitant at trying another. However, my husband found this lovely bistro tucked away along a side street. First indications were good as it was very busy but we managed... More

Stopped for a walk around Guisborough and walked passed a few tearooms and cafes before being drawn into The Cats Whiskers. The staff were really happy & friendly and the food was excellent. 2 x Paninis and a portion of Homemade Potato Skins with Dips... all filled the spot and tasted great. Lovely, cosy atmosphere inside, would definitely recommend and... More

My friend took me here for lunch as she loves the place. Had a very nice meal of homemade quiche and new potatoes. Well cooked and very tasty. Price was reasonable and service very good. Would definitely go back as there were lots of dishes on the menu I would've liked to have tried.

We decided to lunch here, because Cookfellas our first choice in Guisborough was closed on that day. The lunch menu is not very interesting and the resulting food very average. The service was patchy and I did not not find the food or drinks good value for money. I will not be rushing back.

Stopped here just because we passed it from the car park and SO glad we did. It's not cheap but it's not horrific either and in my opinion, worth the bit extra. The food was really lovely, lots of it and a selection of dips. The coffee was nice too and the staff were friendly and not overbearing. In all... More

I have visited here twice, with friends. The decor is modern and pleasant, and there are always plenty of people in here. The food is tasty, we had wraps, but the wraps themselves are small, and don't contain a lot filling. For the price, you would expect more.

Excellent place to pop into if your visiting Guisborough. Gets very busy on a Saturday lunch time. Has a great selection of freshly cooked food including an appetising specials board.

For a small place, it makes a big effort. Charming staff, reasonable prices, decent choice of food and no qualms at all about the quality. Managed to avoid pretentious presentation. We finished every last scrap and left well satisfied. Good honest people, good honest food.

Breakfast is good, great sausages and bacon. My partner had a Gammon meal off the specials board. Little girl had beans on toast, one slice of toast. The cafe was busy and there was even people waiting for a seat. Partner had a takeaway dime slice which was a piece taken from a usual frozen one... so there are some... More
