Set on the banks of the Conwy Estuary, overlooking the historic medievil town of Conwy with a backdrop of coastal mountains, the Grill Room offers a fantastic dining experience. The Quay Hotel and Spa provides a contemporary yet stylish setting, discreet but attentive service and, of course, excellent food. The Grill Room is simply decorated with vistas across the water setting the scene, keeping to a subtle but plush palate, complete with comfortable seating and immaculate place settings. The mouth watering menu includes a large range of local, seasonal Welsh produce and cleverly created dishes, using fine ingredients and beautiful presentation. A choice of A La Carte or Table d’Hote is available.

Really good Sunday lunch

Fantastic Sunday lunch a world apart from the awful lunch at the end of March. New chef is definitely making a difference. The quality of the food it back to top notch as is was a few years back. Definitely worth giving another go if you haven't been for a few years.

We arrived at the Quay Hotel for one nights stay, the hotel itself in very nice and the reception staff exceptional they couldn't have been more helpful if the tried, but unfortunetly that's where the compliments stop!! The service in the restaurant is diabolical to say the least, it was a Wednesday night not particularly busy, we where shown to... More

I've only actually been here for breakfast: a treat to myself for dragging my bones to the gym before 9am. Treat is the appropriate word, since this rare pleasure is one I look forward to immensely. I am always well looked after, well attended and the full Welsh is a marathon of a thing. I've learned after repeated visits to... More

The menu was local and everything was cooked and served perfectly. The restaurant staff could not have been more helpful.

Visited spa for a treat with my daughter then went down for a spot of lunch after. I think the last twice I have visited for food I have noticed that things aren't as good, the service is bad, my daughter received wrong drink also wrong sandwich, the staff don't seem to pay attention when taking the orders, the food... The restaurant was quiet, but despite this, we had to pre-order our food as we were a group of 12. Despite the pre-order, the food took too long to be served at the table, in fact, it took over 2 hours for just the starter and the main and almost 3 by the time we had dessert. Some of my... More

I booked a table for 3 for Mother's Day lunch and travelled from London for it. WHAT A MISTAKE. My mum is actually a member of the spa here, they have fantastic socials and she's been coming for years, even got married here recently so we were all really excited about coming for lunch-we had an eyebrow tinting appointment at...
