We've been coming to The Kings Arms for just over five years now since moving to the area from London. Will and Rose are diamonds and make the whole experience a good one. Great pub food and great value for money. Fab garden - children welcome. There are always events going on in support of the village and we have... More

Here for a couple of beers before a wedding. A village local as it should be - friendly staff, friendly locals, easy conversation and not owned by Shepherd Neame! Plus excellent well-kept ales! Wish it was my local! Can't comment on food as didn't try it.

My wife and I went on a Monday evening at around 8 pm. There was no one in the pub, which was not surprising as the physical condition of the place was seedy and the food was terrible. We went in large part because of a favorable review in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, which was completely inaccurate and misleading.... More

Took my wife, son, his wife our 2 grandchildren for Sunday dinner. The service was quick, the roast were superb and the price reasonable. Would go again at the drop of a hat.

We went here for lunch yesterday. We had not been to Elham or "The Kings Arms" for a while. We were pleasantly surprised with the delightful menu and the attentive serving staff. The portions were plentiful and you know you get value for money. The meals were delicious and cooked with care.

Having walked from Sibton Park, along the river, this was a very welcome half-way point, Had a very reasonably-priced lunch, sitting in the garden with our dog..... the beer was excellent, although over-priced by Gloucestershire standards - we would be seriously shocked to pay more than £3 a pint for real ale - £3.60 would mean taking out a mortgage.....Nice... We visit the Kings Arms often- the food is excellent and plenty of it and the puib is friendly- its all down to Will and Rose who run it- they remember people and children are welcomed . The garden at the back of the pub is great on a sunny day.

In a beautiful little village square by the Church sits the Kings Head serving good straightforward pub grub in sizeable proportions washed down with Harveys ale. Had pate followed by lamb both well cooked, presented and delicious. Plenty of space and you can eat at the bar or in a restaurant area. Will re-visit when I am back in the... More
