3rd time I've been and the food is always good. All homemade and really fresh. Good choice on the menu and the best banana split I've ever had! Watch out for the Murder Mystery nights by St. Ambrose Players, a really good laugh!

This is the fourth time I have visited and it never disappoints! My wife and had perfectly done Brie and cranberry paninis and the service was efficient and friendly. The venue is old-style tea room, with a twist, due to it being a former police station which makes it an interesting venue for a lunch. There is also a little... More

Very pleasant afternoon tea with my friend, beautifully presented sandwiches and cakes. We had the chicken with stuffing and cranberry and the cheese and chutney on brown bread both were equally delicious. We had scone with jam and clotted cream and the lemon cake both home made and melt in the mouth scrumptious. What stood out for us was the... More

Lovely quaint and comfortable surroundings. Very friendly staff service can be a little slow, but food though a little pricey is worth the wait..

Visited coppers today and as per usual always enjoy. Pam and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. Lovely, soups, sandwiches and toasties and nice selection of homemade cakes, love the scones too which were still warm as not long out of the oven, corned beef hot pot smelt and looked nice will have to try that next time.

Called in one afternoon for some lunch, very busy and tables full. The staff are lovely very friendly and the food is excellent. Only down side is the tables are a bit crammed in and you don't have much room but saying that we would still go again maybe on a Friday to try the teapot cocktails.

Friendly, homely, oldy worldy, a treat, everything was mouth-wateringly good.Excellent. Good service, wide choice and variety. Pam and a Her staff can't do enough for You. Just the place to pop in for a cuppa and a cake whether alone or in the company of Friends. Coppers is the hidden gem of Leyland, just a pity that it closes on Mondays.

This is a great cafe with superb, home-made cakes! My favourite is the lemon cake whilst my daughter loves the chocolate cake. Savoury choices are also very good, served with tea in a proper cup! Coppers is very welcoming due to Pam and her staff being so friendly. It feels a lovely place to pop in and anyone would feel... More
