Quaint and comfy!

I love it here. It does amazing veggie food. I always go for the beans, which sounds rubbish but it is lots of different beans in a yummy ragu with crusty bread. Nice for a coffee and catch up also! I have had a really nice waitress here a few times she has blonde hair, has an English rose... read more

Like another recent reviewer, I too waited 25 mins for my meal, which was delicious once it arrived. I'm not sure why it took so long, as the cafe was very quiet when I ordered. Generous portion - more than I could eat - which should satisfy the hungriest of diners. Overall, a good experience, as the cafe is warm,... More

Had brunch here with two friends, not very big so fills up quickly. On a sunny day you can spill out onto the pavement and watch the world go by. Food hot and staff friendly.

I have eaten here regularly for years and love it, but I've never eaten in the evening before. My friend went here on the off-chance last night (Friday) and were fortunate to get a table. The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely gorgeous, good for both meat eaters and vegetarians, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This little cafe is not your normal beans, sausage & eggs. It has the most delicious food I've eaten in a long time. Not only that it even turns into a restaurant of a weekend. I've experienced eating here of a night and I must say "well known restaurants watch out" Sweet Pea food is simply a place to keep... More

I have eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with either the service or the food. The menu is always enticing and there are so many nice dishes it's hard to chose. No matter what I have tried I have always thoroughly enjoyed it. Hot tasty home cooked fare with an inventive twist. Return trips... More

Haven't been in here for years, so has changed a bit. Great interior that can no way be said to be boring. Not necessarily ideal for the bigger boned of us as quite right with tables. Food was wonderful, the house red a good drinker. The natcho starter to share is massive and good, so I ended up with a... More

Ambience: Having never before been to this café I was invited with family members to attend for dinner. Once inside the quirky décor is striking and provides plenty of conversational material; from the tightest, steepest stair case I've ever seen to what looked like a basket of laundry by the front door. By around 8pm it was quite busy and... More
