This is a nice place to visit but the food is not how it use to be, I had Lasange and i had to leave it as it didn't taste nice, I wanted go ask the waitress who was in her 50/60 but I'm not the type of person to complain face to face she was very helpful though through... More

My fiancée had the fish and chips and you could have artexed the ceiling with the mushy peas. I had lasagne which was totally lacking in taste and I was sick as we left. We will not be going again or recommend it to anyone else. We have eaten there numerous times before and were surprised in the deterioration in... More

We booked a table on 6th June '14 for 2.00pm. Arrived and noticed the the pub was not very busy. Ordered our meals and they arrived about 15 - 20 mins later. my folks had the smothered chicken (x2) and both said the chicken was hard. All their chips were cool and so were the garden peas. I had the... More

Met up with a group of friends hadn't seen for years so was very excited! Had already booked so was shown to table ,it was very busy, with what looked like a family party. We didn't rush to order as all full of chat and news catching up, but after about an hour we called over the waiter , ordered... More

My partner and I visited here on bank holiday Saturday, lovely and welcoming pub with friendly staff and great food, I had the salmon nicoise salad and my partner had the hunters chicken.. Both excellent. A tall gentleman served us but we didn't catch his name!! Would definitely return soon.. highly recommended

I am really surprised at the write ups because the food is average or below. On Saturday I ordered Lasagne which was an uninspired choice from an uninspired menu. Not good. It looked like a micro meal and tasted like one, I longed to add garlic, herbs, tomato puree - anything to give it some taste! The 'garlic bread' was... More

First time here and my boyfriend & I just loved it!! Really lovely friend & efficient staff, food just delicious, perfect surroundings & atmosphere, music perfect and we paticularly loved the dining space near the fireplace area with the lovely wallpaper & curtains..just a lovely feel. All in all a thoroughly enjoable experience! We will definitely be returning! Thankyou! :)

We've visited the Ring O'Bells on numerous occasions as it's child friendly and has a great beer garden in the summer. We hadn't visited since the menu changed and will not be eating there again. I could have had a better lasagne if I had purchased a ready meal. It came with a salad garnish of a slice of dried... More

Visited on a Friday evening and managed to get the last table! Very busy but very efficient service and food was really good too. Only niggle we had was that there was no Gluten free bread which limited what our friend could have. Would visit again.
