Food terrible staff not bothered no atmosphere never again Will we eat there again tables were dirty and place looked tired
Well, there is no doubt this is under new management, what a disappointment. Returned for a meal with family, only to find unfriendly staff, poor, unprofessional service and most importantly revolting food. The starter, baked brie, was cold, with uncooked cheese inside. The portion size was also offputting, you would have not needed a main course! Pizza mainly synthetic cheese... More
Family lunch, 3 of us had the carvery and it was lovely, 2 had lasagne and both said it was delicious. We found the staff very polite, helpful and cheerful. Main dining area was clean and spacious, problem with a toilet was dealt with promptly without any fuss, Will go again and would recommend,
Been here a few times and always been lovely, visited here last week and I was shocked! Obviously have new owners, and the food was terrible! The pizzas which are normally great tasted like it had bolognese sauce as it base! Service was excellent from a young girl, a women behind the bar seemed to be bossing her about when... More
Ate here one Sunday evening as all other options were closed. In the the soulless dining room our bored waitress took our order for our 'ping and ding' food. Fortunately the other staff were more cheerful and pleasant. Meal was much as expected. Next time we are in this area we shall visit on any day except Sunday. The other... More
Had a repulsive meal here last month. Food was cold, waitresses were rude, cutlery was dirty and the Bar Man (a tall skinny blonde haired chap) was quite possibly the rudest man I've ever met! He probably shouldn't be working in a customer facing role! Manners cost nothing young man! Avoid and eat here at your own risk!

Well we drove a few miles to get there but well worth it, although very busy was no trouble in getting a table, fast efficient and very friendly, great carvery service was excellent and the chef was full of banter. Quality quantity, at a grt price. Thoroughly recommend.
Staff were helpful and atmosphere was friendly. Food isn't served till 6pm.Nice comprehensive menu but only 3 desserts to choose from,
