Great food!

Food was superb with a wide variety of dishes, not the cheapest but def worth the little bit extra! We were a group of 8 & although we were upstairs all our food pretty much came at the same time.

Two had Thai Buffet, two Fish & Chips, the Thai buffet was very tasty and filling but wouldn't have again bit to spicy for me but my wife 's was ok, ,the Fish & Chips were greasy, other places better food & cheaper. Nearly £4 for a pint of bitter a bit OTT. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall... More

We went on Saturday night with friends and were given a lovely positioned table in the conservatory type restaurant. The service was perfect and quick and so friendly, a lovely greeting when we arrived which makes all the difference. The portions were large even the starters and the food delicious, duck lettuce wraps were very tasty and the fish and... More

I was recommended to eat here when staying nearby and I was not disappointed. The menu's varied and there was a good choice of specials, with the food nicely presented. There's a good selection of beers, ales and wines and the surroundings are rustic, charming and comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly, so overall a very good meal and... More

This used to be a great family favorite when I was a child in the 80's. great to see its still doing a great job after all these years. Roasts are gargantuan so if going on Sunday starve yourself first. Good attentive service and caters very well for allergies

We walked here from the Premier Inn not wanting to eat in the Beefeaters corporate surroundings. It was a very pleasant experience. The pub is like a reverse TARDIS. Looks quite large from the outside but has many small nooks and crannies. The restaurant is in a very nice conservatory with lots of nice plants and vines. The beer garden... More

The staff here are exceptional, the menu had some really good choices and there was an added bonus of a "Specials Board". Value for money is fantastic, we have eaten there several times now and would not hesitate in recommending this establishment

The Old Rydon Inn, is a quaint environment of many nooks and crannies. It absolutely exudes character and charm. The staff are welcoming without being in your face. They go about their business with a quiet, non-invasive efficiency. The food is excellent quality and is good value. If you fancy a break from the usual pub style food, I heartily... More

I had heard good reviews of this restaurant from friends and family so decided to give it a go. First impression of the restaurant was that the decor was tired and confused. Plants everywhere but in my opinion needs a revamp. The menu was predictable and not very inspiring. Some bread was bought to the table with some olive oil... More
