First of all the sat nav did not list this pub, then the guidebook did not have an address, but we persevered, and my unerring (?) skill at finding a good hostelry kicked in, and we found it at the end of the village! Great. We only wanted a light meal,so I cannot comment on the mains menu. Our ploughman's... More

Spent 2 nights here recently. Staff were very friendly and attentive. breakfasts were lovely, also dined her on both nights and the food was very well presented. Rooms are comfortable and generously size. the pub is week situated for the Duxford air museum, well worth a day out.

This is a great place for those who do not wish to eat Sunday Lunch at 1pm! It serves right up until 7pm and we often go at around 4pm, The meat is never overcooked and the veg is excellent along with a nice atmosphere and lovely staff who really seem to care but do not intrude! I really recommend... More

We had dinner here 3 times during a recent stay at Duxford. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere, excellent service from lovely staff & delicious food, well presented. After our first evening here, we were brought warm ciabatta rolls & dipping oil to nibble as a little extra while waiting for our meal. This is so much more than a... More

I have visited this pub a couple of times over the last few weeks for lunch with different family members. Both visits , I have had different sandwiches from their lunch menu which were well presented and very tasty . The chips I ordered were cooked and seasoned to perfection and they are a lot better than the boring skinny... More

With some Italian colleagues so wanted them to try a good sound English pub and the JB did not let us down. All excellent food with the special pie a real hit. All seasoned really well and the wine and beer also good. prices are just what youd expect to pay and friendly staff as well.

Free house Pub with a good menu. I ate Venison haunch the first night (a little bit chewy compared to previous experience) and my son had fish & chips. Second night, I ate the fish while he had a "grazing platter" which was equally delightful. The abbott ale was very good.
