Didn't live up to expectations.

Me and my boyfriend visited this pub after along walk looking for a good sized pub lunch. The pub is nice and staff are friendly but the meal was lacking. We both ordered the venison special and were let down with what was brought to us. The portion sizes where off and although the flavours were ok... read more

A good place for some food and a drink after, or if you prefer before a walk in the Malham Dales. The lamb sandwich was very good.

Try the smoked trout and rhubarb starter - sounds weird but it is awesome! Main course lovely and good selection of beers.

Lovely village pub, idyllic setting, very homely feel, been here twice now first time me and my husband called in for drinks and some chips, we found it so peaceful and relaxing especially as we seated ourselves infront of the open fire, they keep the fire stoked and built up all the time so it's cosy and warm. We decided... More

Our Christmas dinner was pilled up and mush that unfortunately all tasted the same. The price is well overboard for food and drinks

We came here as we always do when visiting Malham. It is a lovely pub and even better when the real log fires are roaring like they were on the day of our visit. We sat at a great table, snug next to the fire. We were staying in Malham and so we settled down for a few drinks and... More

Lovely cosy pub, friendly staff and amazing food. We ordered the pie which was very nice and tasty and sausage, mash and yorkshire pud for the boys which they loved. It was our second visit here and still outstanding 😊

Great real ale and a hearty menu make this a great pub restaurant after a day's walking. Not haute cuisine but good local produce on a good pub menu. Not cheap for a steak £20.00 but plenty of choice around £13. Portion sizes are pretty big too. We enjoyed 7 different mains over two nights and we were pleased. The... More

Had evening meal after long walk. The pub was friendly & warm with open fires blazing. The reserved table was next to the fire which might seem perfect after a long walk in snow but it was too close to the fire to be comfortable, also the table was wedge in the alcove which ment that it had to be...
