Went in here for a drink before catching a bus, £7 for a pint and an orange juice, absolute rip off! Where do they think they are Covent garden? In fact Ive paid less in London. Scandalous prices!!!! I bet people only come here once

They catered for a large party without notice. Like the Lister's arms they need a kick of competition to get them 5 stars.

We had a wonderful child free weekend during a heatwave in Malham. The first pub we went into was the buck, our pints were decent but not great but the menu was awsome, full of interesting things I wouldn't cook at home which is what I look for when eating out. There was a unappetising smell in the bar area... More

We were staying nearby to watch the Tour de France and walked down to the Buck Inn very much on the basis of it bearing the nearest! We were glad that we did. The place was busy with other cycling fans and people watching the World Cup but it never felt over-crowded. We ate there both nights of our stay... More

Our friends were staying in this wonderful Inn in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and were there to watch the 1st stage of the Tour de France. We booked dinner in the restaurant for about 7.30pm but brought it forward, not a problem as empty. You can also eat in the bar, but as there was ten of us... More

The evening meals were well prepared with a good choice. Went three times in all and chose to eat in the bar area (at the time we did not notice another area at the back). Unfortunately our meals were spoilt by fellow diners. Day 2 = a very noisy football team and followers eating which attracted & took the young... More

I can only comment on the basis of a quick visit for an evening meal A pint of Timothy Taylors whilst I had a look at the menu - wow! - prices have risen a bit since I last stayed here (well it was thirty years ago!) I decided to order Fish and Chips at £13 odd and sat back... More
