Snack Lunch

The Lister Arms was a lovely place to stop for lunch yesterday. The décor and friendly staff where a delight, on what was a miserably wet day. I ordered a Warm Brie spilt sandwich on brown and a portion of chips to share. Don had a fish finger sandwich which was delicious on white, his only... read more

Arrived on a wet windy day after a lovely walk up to the tarn to a friendly greeting and welcome water for the dogs. Extensive menu made choosing our meals difficult but we were not disappointed. Don't think any of us finished what we were served.

We ate here twice on a short break to the Dales. We had dinner one night and tried the pies: best ones we've ever eaten. Pastry to die for, and full of tasty morsels. I'd revisit the area for the pies alone!

We called in here after doing a 5 mike round walk of Malham Cove, Gordale Scar & Janet's foss - we are staying at Beck Hall but decided to eat here as the deli is closed on Monday and Tuesday's - the Guinness was gorgeous, the pub is very warm and welcoming - they are totally dog friendly and every... I've been twice now, it's such a quaint friendly pub with a great atmosphere. If you want gorgeous food in a beautiful setting then you got it! Take the dogs as they give cute little doggy beds. The food is amazing, above average as pub food goes!

Generally pleasant restaurant in picturesque setting. I would not recommend restaurant for coeliacs. Booked reservation on line requesting gluten free. Staff waiting tables were unaware of which meals were g/f. Unfortunately after ordering fish menu we were told they had given us the wrong meal , the majority of which had been eaten. We enquired if it was g/f ,... More

Went camping with friends in malham, the lister arms was our 'local' for the duration of our stay. Food is amazing, staff very friendly, more than accomodating with anything we asked for (including a cheeky phone charge). If you go, you must get a scone with all the trimmings, came hot, its the best ive ever had!!
