Come Hungry!

Came in a party of six for Sunday lunch and most of us went for the roast beef. The beef was pretty good and came with yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables. The roasted vegetables were tasty but a bit on the mushy side. The portion size was so large that even the hungriest walkers... read more

We had done the whole Malham Cove Loop round the top and back down the lane. So we reckoned we had earned a good old Roast. The Lister arms did not disappoint. Lovely warm interior with a buzz of people and dogs, muddy, rosy cheeked and on a high from their activities. Great selection of beer and wine and good... More

Love coming here, the humans have been a couple of times with me now and enjoy the lunch and the wines and beers, but the best bits for me are the fires, the doggie beds and the treats on offer. The humans have said next time we come we will get to sleep over like we did in the lister's... More

We called in here after a walk for some lunch and a well earned drink. Very dog friendly and lovely staff and great food. Would highly reccomend. Also found out while we were there that dogs can stay there too. Will be staying there next time we are up for a weekend.

Excellent walker friendly pub (also dog friendly!) with three wood burning fires. Well kept ales from the Thwaites stable, along with other local brews, and cider on hand pump as well. The food is exceptionally good, and is served all day - the Chef's speciality is pies - including slices of home baked Pork Pies - ideal for a post-walk... More

Fantastic country pub very cosy and welcoming. Roaring log fires we visited a few times whilst we were staying up the road and every time every time we were met with a warm welcome from Fred who brought doggy treats for our dog. Meals were very good. Looking forward to returning soon

We were warmly welcomed despite it being very busy. Shown to a lovely little nook for two near the front window and they were fab bringing the food on time and with a smile. Try the black pudding balls! Amazing!

A lovely place to eat. 9 different beers / ciders on tap. Very nice food eaten in the bar area however it was served on cold plates which was mentioned at the time. Well behaved dogs in the pub added to the friendly atmosphere.
