Visited Linnane's Lobster Bar based on reviews from the T-A community and came back twice because we loved it so. The fish just doesn't get any fresher. A bit off the beaten track and worth every kilometer. Rustic, delightful and completely finger-licking delicious. Still dreaming of the garlic crab claws in their pool of luscious garlicky butter, mopped up with... More

Second visit to this small village with a wonderful restaurant serving the freshest fish in an idyllic setting. For a lovely drive on a Sunday from Galway out past Kinvara towards Ballyvaughan and then just before, turn down to the sea and the restaurant awaits overlooking the harbour, the small fishing boats, the creels and the views across Galway bay.... Wondered off the main road and headed for the pier. Stopped for tea and wound up sharing fantastic crab salad. Fresh and superb quality crab with a nice complement of greens. Highly recommended for sea food lovers.

My partner and I tried 4 seafood dishes. The oysters were fantastic as expected. The seafood chowder was ok. Mostly white fish and no shellfish. The mussels were nice, not much sauce. The baked crab was very good. Other family members had lamb shanks and steak and said they were very good. Definitely worth a visit.

The tastiest meal I have eaten in a long time. Crab claws starter wonderful served with homemade brown bread. Pork excellent, veg and mash cooked to perfection. I would go out of my way to eat there again. Good food, presentation excellent and full of flavour. Overall a delightful dining experience.

We were told about this place by one of the locals. A short drive out of town and off the beaten path, rhos place is frequented mainly by locals and is hidden gem. Most of the seafood is supplied directly from the wharf in front of the hotel and you can taste the freshness. We had seafood chowder and shared... More

Our family and partners, 7 in total visited on a Saturday evening @ 6, our table was booked and we arrived on time. The table was not set, so we sat and waited to be served, which took a good ten mins. We didn't mind too much as the place was busy and the views are gorgeous. When the waiter... More

Nice location overlooking the water. We were confronted with a power outage, but the menu choices were just fine. Staff was very nice. After driving through the Burren in the morning, this was a great place to stop.

Loved this pub with great views out to sea. Even though pub was full we were greeted warmly and could not fault the service. Excellent tasty food highly recommend the salmon. The chowder as a starter was so tasty. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food make this seafood pub a ' must visit' during and trip to the Burren.

The food here is fantastic but we were not made very welcome. We have had 24 meals on this trip and only two establishments made us feel like this, so not bad going really! My friends who always rave about Maine Lobster said that this was the best ever! Long after we had finished our meal a waiter came over... More
