Great venue with a lovely friendly atmosphere and efficient staff, it's family run which adds to it's charm. Food is always fabulous, the crab claws were amazing. A little expensive but well worth the treat. Beautiful drive down the coast on the way home to Limerick. Highly recommended if you're in that part of the country.

Lovely venue, great food, well trained staff and a view worth going to see. Off the beaten track but definitely well worth the drive to find Linnane's. You wont be disappointed. Seafood platter awesome.

Expensive, but have eaten here plenty of times over the years, Last weekend asked for a childs portion of fish, no childrens portions of adult mains. I refuse to pay €17.95 for fish and chips for a child.......and would not insult her by giving her fish fingers. Kids like real food too.........The sea food platter was nice as were the... More

This says it all: we stopped to eat at Linnane's three times in 10 days. We were staying in Kinvara, just a few miles down the road, so luckily it was a quick trip. During the winter, the restaurant is normally open on Fri-Sat-Sun only. But between Christmas and New Year's, they were open the whole week and we took... More

My family had been to Monk's before, but after we went to Aliwee Cave for a bird walk (EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE) and our guide suggested we go here instead. We took his advice, and made a reservation. We arrived an hour early (accidentally because we forgot our rental's clock is an hour off), but they still accepted us, and already had... More

An absolute treat - the BEST seafood on the planet. In warm weather : sit outside and take it all in. A most memorable dining experience. Wish I could live there and go every week ! it is that excellent !

Visited Linnane's Lobster Bar based on reviews from the T-A community and came back twice because we loved it so. The fish just doesn't get any fresher. A bit off the beaten track and worth every kilometer. Rustic, delightful and completely finger-licking delicious. Still dreaming of the garlic crab claws in their pool of luscious garlicky butter, mopped up with... More

Second visit to this small village with a wonderful restaurant serving the freshest fish in an idyllic setting. For a lovely drive on a Sunday from Galway out past Kinvara towards Ballyvaughan and then just before, turn down to the sea and the restaurant awaits overlooking the harbour, the small fishing boats, the creels and the views across Galway bay.... Wondered off the main road and headed for the pier. Stopped for tea and wound up sharing fantastic crab salad. Fresh and superb quality crab with a nice complement of greens. Highly recommended for sea food lovers.
