Great food in a superb environment, and at a very reasonable price! I had a trout ceviche, pasta with smoked trout and a juice (tamarind with cinnamon), all for $18. The menu is limited to about 20 options (10 appetizers, 5 main dishes and 5 sandwiches), most of them trout-based, but everything is scrumptious and extremely fresh (they even have... More

This is one of the nicest spots in the area. Located in front of the river lots of birds come to visit making it a magical spot. They grow their own veggies and their Trout Cevice (cooked with lemon) is the best cevice I have eaten in my life. After eating you can walk through the their trails to the... More

My family had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant right on the water. After lunch we walked around the grounds enjoying all the hummingbirds and silky flycatchers.

Most of the menu was comprised of trout (spanish: trucha) dishes. They grow their own veggies. The trout omes from the trout farms which are very close by and clearly of high quality. I'm not sure if I would recommend the restaurant to people who would not consider trout. Luckily we liked the trout very much and found the food... More

The view on a small river is wonderful. The trout pasta was a large serving and delicious. (I had the spicy) All of their trout is deboned. Our lunch was memorable. It's in a pastoral setting. river, Woods, beautiful flowers, even a couple of cows next door, and the friskiest sweet little dog you could every hope to meet. It's cold... More

This is a small, open-aired restaurant with amazing food! The prices were great and you can pay in either dollars or colones. We loved this place so much, we ate there two days in a row! We will be back!

The menu is a bit limited, mostly trout in a variety of ways: pasta, tacos, salads, deep fried with fries. My husband and I both had the deep fried and thought they were quite good; they were not burned but had a spicy coating which gave them a dark appearance. The location is fantastic with views of the Savegre River... More

We may have been unlucky but on the day we went the food was just so so. In the case of fish fingers and chips for my daughter they were burnt and the whole restaurant area smelt of burnt cooking oil. On plus side my wife's pasta was ok and plentiful and my salad was ok. The setting is lovely... More
