It's almost as if no one noticed that a ridiculously talented French chef was working a masterpiece of cuisine inside this small ocean side hut. I wanted to stop people walking on the beach and say to them, "hey one of St. Martin's best chefs is cooking in that little hut, do you understand what I'm saying?" Go and try... More

Where else but St. Martin can you eat burrata and steak tartare with your feet in the sand? The island tradition of finishing every meal with free spiced rum is the best ever. Service at Kontiki is a bit scatter-brained, but very friendly, and the food is top-notch.

I would say it is the best place to eat when you don't want to leave the beach. Great local and french touch. Drinks and espresso are all good as well. And yes, expect to see naked customers there.

Looks like they have abandoned the old run down location notable for serving sushi on the beach. New small walk up bar with shaded tables and all new beach chairs with thick pads. Great beach location for activities.

Rented chairs here but never got offered a menu, drinks etc. It was low season. Try Aloha or Orange fever for food and drink instead

Great food, drinks and treatment. Broad variety of simple and complex food choices. One of the best beach massages ever in a private enclosure with the surf in the background was very relaxing. The owner Phillipe is personal, friendly and accommodating. A must see.

I love the cushioned picnic tables in the sand. The waiters are very kind and good at their profession. Neat color scheme is trendy with the red and dark wood building makes it easy to find if you are meeting friends, and it is right in the middle of all the beach action.

Might just be my new favorite beach in the world. Absolutely stunning white powder sand and the turquoise blue water is not to be believed. Beers and drink service was great! (Thanks Bettina!). Lunch was surprisingly good for beach bar food. Stayed here a full day- will definitely be back!

We had lunch and spent the day at Kontiki. We had burgers and they were grilled and very good. They are a nice size and come with lots of french fries. Like everything else here, the food is pricey, but what isn't? Kontiki is in a great location on the beach. Would definitely visit again.

Stopped in to grab a few beers on our walk all the way up & down Orient Bay Beach. Friendly bartenders and ice cold, cheap beer.
