The real reason for this was that Le Moulin a Vent was never open! Notwithstanding this Le Racine gets our vote each time. Friendly knowledgeable and comical staff, superb local cuisine and the bill wasn't bad either. Comes highly recommended with or without the competition.

We spent my birthday evening in this lovely friendly village restaurant, they have a number of blackboard menus, with a few set options. We both ended up going for the lowest priced option, at 16 Euros each... the quality & taste of the food was excellent, the duck pate on the starters, and the duck confit in filo pastry were... More

We arrived only to have refreshment and we were delighted to be easily accommodated despite the presence of diners. This restaurant is everything a tourist village restaurant should have - ambience, cosiness, an excellent menu with wine list and an honest, confident atmosphere of capability. Highly recommended.

We were told about this Restaurant by a friend who lives in Normandy. The meal was delicious and the presentation very appealing. The atmosphere was buzzing and the staff very friendly. . This will definitely be a place we will be going back to.

Excellent as always, we now book from the uk just to make sure our first day will be a great start to our holiday. Tony and Maud run a friendly, really good food and unpretentious restaurant. Sod the diet!!! Top marks.

No cheese in a French Restaurant!!! Very disappointed. The chicken had that old taste ... like it should have been in the bin a day before. I know it was a holiday week-end but that is no excuse to be out of cheese and to be serving stale poultry. Both the owner and the waitress couldn't have cared less. Skip... More

This is the French restaurant you dream of, but seldom find. From the moment Maud talked us through the imaginative blackboard menu it felt special; everything homemade (fish smoked on the premises), friendly service and even a touch of Brit-fusion resulting from the chef's work in UK (local version of cullen skink, beef in Guinness). Our 18 euro menu was... More
