Meal of a Lifetime

I guess if you are determined to turn 60 with your best friends in the southern Rhone, you might as well book a table for 10 at the best restaurant in the region, order an 8 course meal, book a Sommelier, and spend it all. That's what our friend did, and it really was the Meal of a Lifetime... read more

We came here on a wet day in September. We were welcomed in and got one of the last un-reserved tables. We chose the plat-de-jour menu and had a fantastic meal. The prawn starter was magnificent and both main courses were delicious. The wine list was extensive and the atmosphere in the indoors room was stylish and not too noisy... More

We had an excellent meal at this modern restaurant in the heart of the Dentelles AOC. Very handy for Cairanne but also not far from Gigondas, Vacqueras, Seguret, and Sablet. We had the E35 menu and the E45 menu. Interesting, flavoursom, well presented dishes. Wine list and service were excellent. Thank you!

I had been wanting to come to this restaurant two years ago but the wind was blowing a gale, this in July and it would not have been pleasant sitting on the terrasse because the restaurant is quite exposed. The day we ate there was very peaceful weather wise. The staff are very professional and attentive. The wine waiter knows... More

Presentable, elegant, fresh, scrumptious are the words to describe this gastronomical food prepared by this restaurant. Truly enjoyed my course and would definitely return for more! :)

Stopped off for lunch today and we were warmly greeted and seated in the comfortable garden that evokes the terroir of the Southern Rhone. With excellent guidance from the kind, energetic and enthusiastic sommelier we selected a fabulous local wine by Jerome Bressy followed by near perfect execution of our meal. Simple, well prepared with great ingredients. Really loved it!

This restaurant is truly exceptional. We came for dinner and were greeted by the friendliest staff. They were very warm and welcoming without being overbearing. We each had a started, main course, cheese and dessert. The portions were perfect and the food quality was amazing. The foie gras was quite delicious, i then had the bull which i have never... More

We celebrated a birthday here, and were rewarded with ambitiously presented local dishes, and a wine cellar to match. Situated outside Cairanne (about 11km from Vaison-la-Romaine), on the edge of a vineyard, the view is pastoral and relaxing. Overall quality of food and service was excellent.

This was absolutely the best meal we had on our French vacation in the Cotes du Rhone villages. Incredible food served impeccably. The wine selection is fitting of the setting in the middle of the Rhone vineyards. Worth the drive and the time for a meal - in fact worth driving for a couple if hours if necessary.
