Our son-in-law made the reservation through his hotel, and the four of us (my wife, daughter and son-in-law) arrived at 7 pm. We were warmly welcomed, started off with excellent toro and the meal just got better. We had a couple bottles of beer, four bottles of sake of varying size, and soon were engaging Inose-san, Sachiko-san (the couple that... More

I found this tiny (10 seat) sushi restaurant thanks to Tripadvisor. It's located in a quiet neighborhood away from Shinagawa station noise. At first, I wasn't sure if we would be welcome as foreigners. After being warned that the restaurant was cash only, we went in anyway and had an amazing meal and experience. The "mom and pop" of the... More

This is different... You are almost in a small kitchen... Sitting at bar looking on whilst the delightful chef performs his amazing skills...his wife looks after drinks etc with great concern that you are happy... the fish as other reviewers have said is utterly superb... We are not sushi officinados but found ourselves being guided by the chef and fellow... More

Unbelievable sushi. More unbelievable sushi showmanship. Have u ever seen a clam move in ur sushi? A must try place if u ever in... More

We had read about this small sushi house on TA and asked our hotel concierge to call and make a booking for us. Our taxi dropped us outside but the train station is only about a 10 minute walk if you want that option. The restaurant has a sushi bar at the front and a private room at the back... More

Wonderful sushi served by wonderful couple! How should I describe the sentiment? “Omotenashi” – feeling welcome, so welcome that I came back within a week. That is probably the number one reason why it has made the number one place in TA for a while now. The first time I came alone and was seated by the sushi counter. The... More

Hard to find and hard to leave after the dinner... So friendly, so good... We had the perfect evening! Thank you for the freshest sushi we have ever had! 120.- CHF for two incl beer and sake... We expected a higher bill... Would love to come back again!
