We are BIG Indian food fans and have eaten in all types, from cheap and cheerful to elegant and expensive. Miah's could fit into the first category, the staff are friendly and helpful. However I was disappointed in the cleanliness of pretty much everything in this restaurant. It took the edge off the food, which was actually not bad. Tasty... More

Went to the buffet on a Sunday evening, got there about 6.45pm, there was no meat in the curries just sauce. The toilet facilities are disgusting. All 5 of us were ill next day. Will never go there again.

We decided to try a different restaurant from our favourite, and were very disappointed. Food was poor. If I'd gone around to a friends for dinner, and had this, I would not have been disappointed, but sorry to say not what I would have expected from a proper restaurant. Food tasted and looked like blended tomatoes with some chillies thrown... More

Having lived in the area for several years, my wife and I are regular customers. The service is always excellent and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is highly commendable and they are always willing to make small additions, e.g extra chillies on request.

We didn't book and got a table soon after we arrived. After ordering we had to wait a very long time for the food, which was tasty but not as spicy as we would have liked but otherwise we were pleased that it seemed to have been made from scratch and wasn't at all greasy. The staff were hugely apologetic... More

Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it's terrible. The service is always great, especially if you have children. The waiters are very friendly and accommodating. It's just a shame that you cannot rely on getting a decent standard meal every time. Food value is great, very cheap meals. We usually take away as it's not the most atmospheric place.

Went for a meal on a Saturday night and the place was very quiet. The service was very attentive but lacked any friendliness, it was bordering on a bit weird. Food was tasty but nothing amazing, that said the prices represented excellent value for money.
