Our first ever try.Me and my friend enjoyed it. It's very chewy but we felt that thinner slices will have better taste. Soup was nice.

Dont order the beef. The quality is so bad. It is totally different from the menu. I complain to the manager and he said that the meat is normal and the hardness is normal. From that point i think there is nothing i can do....Im very disappointed for japanese standard. Look at the meat. You can tell how hard it is.More
Come here to eat their beef tongue set. The soup tastes great it's probably made with a ton of beef and pork bones. The beef tongue is seared perfectly and goes very well with rice.
Beef tongue that tastes like a springier version of steak. If you have to choose - pick the regular beef tongue. The special beef tongue is actually a little harder to chew with the extra fat.
Great food with nice view. Line up is long around an hour in week day lunch time. Set lunch is good if you got time to wait. Very close to shopping. Bring lots of money😉
I tried Rikyu Tokyo Soramachi gyu tan yesterday. It was by far the best gyutan I have ever tried. I think they successfully defined delicious to a new level.
I like gyutan so I came to skytree especially for this. I came at 11am and there was no line but after I get in I saw more people coming in and in few minutes it became a snake line. To avoid the line, you...shall come early or around 4-6pm where not many people want to eat. Back to the review, I order 2 sets. One is normal gyu and the other is special. The special one is more soft and thicker. Nom nom, gyutan is very nice. Gyutan it self is very delicious, however I wished they gave some yakiniku sauce, that would be perfect. Besides gyutan, the set also consist of a bowl of soup, salad and.. I don't know what it is but it was very yummy. The soup is not so good though. The staff is also nice and fills your glass continuously. Rikyu is definitely nice place to eat.More
One thing I have learned about those extensive food offerings in 'food courts' in Japanese 'malls': go where people line up! This was also the case with Rikyu, in total we waited over 30 minutes (but we had also insisted on table, instead of counter...space), I also noticed quite some solo-eaters in the line, this told me that the food must be good. And indeed it was, the tongue was soft and well marinated, the whole set came with other bits and pieces and our son was especially happy the there was a kids' menu which had a bit of tongue, but focused more on some sushi balls. Very recommended. There is a terrace, but it was drizzling today, so they kept it closed.More
thick ox tounge, super delicious, insane queue. Lucky I went there after lunch but still short queue. A friend of mine went during lunch time and the queue was like more than an hour wait.
walked around the solamachi and choose the specical place of gyutan.the meet was soft and quiet yummy, got power to step again for the other part of the mall.
