CoCo Ichibanya is Japan’s most famous Curry House. It's delicious and really worth the price. The entire concept of Coco Ichibanya is surrounded around the fact that it serves curry with rice and meat / vegetables of your choice. The most striking feature about the concept is that it allows you to customize the order. It's delicious and really worth... More

So, apparently curry rice is one of the big underground things in Japan food. Not something that you think about when you think Japanese cuisine, but something the locals love. And with good reason. If you have a good chinese takeout near you, you've probably had something similar to the sauce they serve. The curry sauce is thick and spicy,... More

I love curry and spicy food in general and a friend recommended this place to me. In my one week in Tokyo, I seriously went five times. The hotness levels are not to be underestimated. I eat a lot of spicy food and I stopped at level 3. It tasted really good, no matter the spice level. You can choose... More

I don't know if it's the best I ever had, but it was excellent. The staff are friendly and understand English enough. Asked if I wanted the menu but told her I already knew what I wanted. Food came quickly and I savored the entire bowl. Was nice to sit in peace and eat..every where else was packed.

Yes, just like my review says, best curry in Tokyo. Was not expecting this from a chain. I loved it so much I came back every single day of my tokyo Trip.

Usually in Japan, the restaurants are much better when they are family owned/single restaurants as opposed to large chains. This one however, which spans many countries has the best Japanese curry I have ever had. I still prefer Western style Indian curry, but I have been here in 3 different countries and have never been disappointed. The prices will usually... More

Fantastic place for curry in Japan. Although it is a large chain the quality of the product is very high. I love the ability to customize every aspect of your curry meal including the amount of rice and spice level. I went with level 3 and it was a good level of hot, next time I'm moving up to 4.... You get to choose how much rice, how spicy you want it, and what sauce you want with your curry. Lots to choose from and clean space with excellent service. Two of the waiters spoke English well enough to tell me lots about the restaurant. They have over 1300 locations through out Japan and even one in LA. Try it,... More

So many choices of curry food to choose from. You can pick what level of curry (spice) to choose from (I believe from 1-10 in hotness). Not a big fan of curry but must say this place hit the spot. Next time will order a 2 instead of a 3 level for hotness. But, wonderful food and filling. They place... More
