Peppermint, Thyme and Lavender Tea - and no smoking! The service was immaculate and the Japanese macha sweets tremendous. A lovey, fine experience.

This bar is not cheap (1200 yen per drink) however it is worth it for the view over the city. Amazing views in every direction. They also do happy hour drinks which make it more reasonable. Located on the top of the Park Hyatt Hotel, very easy to get to from Shinjuku station.

As with many small eateries, this one was crammed for space, if you are looking for a place to stretch your legs whilst you eat, you wont get that here. The food makes it worth the tight fit, I like it spicy and they served up a local dish made to my request, they were quick to make sure my... More

Everyone talks about the New York Bar upstairs, which may be more glamorous but this is definitely not the poor relation. I got the best seat by the window, great service, custom made cocktails and the obviously fabulous views. Not to mention the wow factor when the lift doors open and you're facing the bamboo forest and the city lights.... More

I understand that the sister bar, New York Bar, gets all the publicity, but the Peak Bar is severely underrated. The views are just as good, the drinks are fantastic, and the music is more fun for a younger person. My wife and I enjoyed the Peak Bar each night we stayed at the Park Hyatt. As a Diamond member... Really beautiful views. Went there for a cocktail prior to dinner and it was amazing to see the sun set and see the lights go on in the city beneath you.

Some friends and I took advantage of the cocktail hour special (Y3500 = ~$35 before taxes, unlimited drinks and canapes) and really enjoyed our twilight experience. Since Typhoon Neoguri was quietly passing over, we were treated to a rainbow show, which really enhanced the experience. The staff was wonderful, seating us as quickly as possible, given the small seating area.... More

On our trip to Japan, we commenced our Saturday night out in Tokyo here using the Twilight Time promotion, and given the surroundings we got dressed up for the occasion. We chose the Peak Bar as it is doesn't carry the cover charge before you even order anything. The offer (¥3500 per person including unlimited drinks and canapés - as... More

Yes the Hotel is a Five star and yes it has some of the best views in Tokyo... but boy do they make the worst cocktails. My 10 year old nephew can make better ones from an internet recipe. I mean the people they have employed have no experience or training. I think the bartender has no clue what he/she... More
