Quaint, intimate setting and delicious food. There are no tourists here, and not much English is spoken. However, our waitress was extremely sweet and we pointed and ordered. You get an intimate booth with a paper/bamboo door. Tons of vegetables and meat. Great price for all the food you get.

The service is great, very friendly, limited English but they try very hard. The beef is amazing, worth paying the extra. The portions arnt huge for the price but best order an extra portion of thick noodles for the filler :-) overall a fun and pleasant experience

Portions are very small. Frankly for that price I am used to having plenty of meat and ingredients to get satisfied over a lengthy meal. Seems that here you are paying for them to cook for you which is really not necessary and little annoying for Shabu shabu. Shabu shabu should be cooked and eaten at your own pace with... More

Tricky to find, but worth the effort. Excellent value, the four course high grade beef menu under ¥5000 per person.

It is very nice for the food, but it is really hard to locate this restaurant. After located this restaurant 2 days ago, it is full house, so we need to make reservation to have a dinner tonight. However, it doesn't have enough waiters to serve us in time. We waited over 25 minutes for the udon and rice cake.... More

Had a great meal. Great service. They took reservations. Incredible beef. Glad we saw that it was across from Uniqlo. If you read Chinese, you can match the restaurant to the correct building. It is one building among five? Also, glad we could walk dry via the Shinjuku station.

This is not an easy restaurant to find. My wife and I spent a good 45 minutes searching and despite asking multiple people, including the police, we were on the verge of giving up. I was able to speak to someone on the phone who gave us perfect directions to it. If you come out of the Shinjuku Sanchomae station... More

A return visit to this hidden away restaurant only a few yards from Shingawa Station confirmed that the first visit wasn't a one off. Just across the road from the station stationing by one of the exits to the Gonzalez line metro this restaurant is tucked away in a basement. Very attentive staff with a good grasp of English makes... More

We tried to find this restaurant based on the previous reviews. It was difficult and we had to ask twice nearby for directions but even the bookstore refeferred to in a previous review did not know of the restaurant. It is true that there is no name in English outside. Look for the P.F. SA store (business wear) shown on... More

It's not cheap, but the place is smart and the service is excellent. A great place for kobe beef shabu shabu or sukiyaki. Facts: Set menu per person starts from Y5000 to Y11000, depending on the grade of beef chosen. You'll definitely be full at the end, as there's loads of food. Set aside 2+ hours as it'll take that...
