Small, old no frills place, but you can always get a nice bowl of Tendon here. Their miso soup with shijimi (tiny freshwater clams) is quite something. If you feel peckish, go for both Tendon and shijimi-jiru. You'll be surprised. I always come here for 1,200 yen lunch Tendon, but would love to come here for dinner.
