Decent place to eat

Great place to lunch and for happy hour refreshments. I bring some of my customers there often as the service and food is excellent. Very popular with the ladies.

As vegetarians in Tokyo we were delighted to find this restaurant with its wide choice of food and helpful staff. It's popular with Japanese customers but usually possible to get a table early evening. The serving staff are patient and helpful when dealing with non-Japanese speakers. Most evenings one of the Italian managers is on site too. When you leave... More

So, I have been to Italy and I've eaten pizza there but this small unassuming restaurant in Shinjuku, Tokyo has certainly made its mark on me. It is quite simply the best pizza I've ever eaten. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant - lovely food, polite and helpful staff, nice wine. Just lovely all round.

Stopped here prior to our friends flying back home to Australia for a final early evening meal. Had been to the counterpart in Nagoya so knew it would be fine. Slightly different menu to the other branch but solid pizzas. Very thin base and good ingredients. Reasonable cocktail menu and cheap beer resulting in an 11k yen bill for four... More

Needed a starch fix, so we came here on third day of Tokyo trip. Food was average in taste, but good quality ingredients. Small portions, Not expensive by Tokyo standards. If you order the pizzas, remind them not to overcook or burn the bottom of the crust. We also ordered the spaghetti with cherry tomatoes, which was very good. However,... More

We stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel and this restaurant was conveniently attached to our hotel. Since we've feasted on so much Japanese food this was sort of a nice break. We made it in time before the lunch buffet was closing so we had our fill of the different buffet options which included potato salad, green salad and different... More

First TA review, went to check out this place because 1. It was conveniently located downstairs from our hotel - mitsui garden hotel 2. It was highly rated from TA We went for dinner and ordered the margharita pizza with salima picante and got a carafe of house red for 30000¥ or about $30 CAD. Good and quick service. Very... More

Nice atmosphere even crowded, which was our case. So we had to get dinner on the bar. Good and tasteful pizzas. A little bit pricy compared to South Europe, but average in Tokyo.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
