Interesting experience

Enjoyed this restaurant, staying in the hotel and made my way to it - it is a bit hidden away so you have to know where to go, it should be highlighted more. Staff are in traditional kimonos which is a nice touch and their English was decent. Tasting menus galore, hard to know which to pick when... read more

My wife and I dined here a few nights ago. Fabulous food, service and a great experience all round. The waitresses wore traditional kimonos which added to the experience.

This was our introduction to Japan dining and I was pleased. Staff was very courteous, as per usual for Japanese, and although we did have a slight bump in our experience, it was swiftly hamdled by our waiter. (My wife was hesitant between two choices of fish, the waiter suggested she have the Flounder and in the end the bill... More

My husband and I just left this restaurant about 45 minutes ago. We had to stop at a supermarket on our way back so I could buy something to eat: I could not eat most of the dishes at the tasting menu. Most of them were just tasteless, but some were really bad, including the main course and the sashimi!... More

We have just finished having dinner there and the motto of the evening has been: "no possible". We had a reservation at 9:20pm (because 9:30 was too late), when we arrived there they showed us our table and brought the menus. I decided to have the tasting menu and my wife a couple of main courses because there were no... More

As we were staying in the Park Hyatt, we decided to eat here for our first meal in Japan, Had the 'taste' menu. Around 7 courses, including one course of 9 delicacies. The meal was very good, there was one course that we didn't like (the icefish just tasted bland) but we put that down to a combination of jet... More

Yes this place is quite good in terms of food (classical Japanese cuisine based on kaiseki), service, and with Tokyo at your feet, and the hope to meet Bill and Scarlett adds to the excitement. But then it comes at a hefty price, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is impersonal and cool. There are a dozen of real classical... More

The wonderful Park Hyatt hotel in Tokyo provides a discreet gem: Kozue is exceptional on all accounts. The setting is beautiful and a bit mysterious. The views are stunning. More importantly, the food is truly exceptional. Every dish is worth a photo and when it reaches the mouth, is an incredible mix of savors. A great sake will complete this... More

the service is excellent from taking our reservation to welcoming us to the restaurant. we had the lunch set named Goroku Tendon with wagu meat and Waka with tempura. reasonably priced at total of 7000 jpy for the food. food itself was ok but did not match the exclusive view nor the excellent service. recommend a visit when you are... Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
