We had dinner at Kozue on a Saturday night. It was a strange experience. The location is great, the view is wonderful, the service excellent - and the food was underwhelming, disappointing, bad, tasteless and utterly boring. My husband and I paid close to 50 000 yen to have the most dissatisfying restaurant experience in our lives - and we... More

Excellent choice for food, in one of the most iconic view you can get over the Tokyo skyline. Accurate service as you may expect in any Park Hyatt. Great for lunch, spectacular for dinner.

I visited Kozue with two other work colleagues on our business trip to Tokyo. We decided to order one of the tasting menu items. For about 90% of the meal, everything was very good. For about 10% there were a few items that just weren't spot on - for any of the three of us and we are fairly adventurous... More

We were staying at the wonderful Park Hyatt Tokyo, which is where Kozue is located, and wanted to try their Japanese restaurant. Given the quality of everything else in the hotel, including their other restaurants, we were sure this might be a very high quality restaurant as well. But for us with American palettes, it was a very expensive adventure,... More

I was convinced not to eat at this spot- after all, we are in Tokyo, we can get great Japanese food EVERYWHERE. My husband convinced me that we should make the big splurge for our anniversary- and we had a fabulous evening. Food and service both wonderful. The view expansive. I know we paid a lot for the food, but... More

This is an expensive place. I had the New Year lunch menu with only two options. We had come all this way so we took the Y9.5K instead of the cheaper Y6K. The first dish was a starter with some blowfish meat in tofu. You see the Google map on your right? The piece is about 75% (looking top down)... More

Expectations were high as we travelled on the lift to the 40th floor of the Hyatt Park Hotel in Jinjuku, Tokyo, to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Unfortunately, however, Kozue turned out to be just another one of those restaurants where you pay much more for the view than for the quality of the food and service. The décor is formal... More

Kozue is situated at the top floors of Park Hyatt Hotel and has a great view. İt is a spacious restaurant with plenty of distance between tables. We tried to gourmet menu, which has an excellent introduction to contemprary Japanese cooking. Sevrvice is very good and efficient; sake and wine list is also impressive, Kozue despite the setting and the... More

The view is spectacular, but that's it. We had reserved a window seating which we didn't get. The service varied a great deal. First we had one waiter who was quick to take our order, but took forever to bring our drinks. When she arrived she had forgotten our water. Also they always forgot to replenish our water as well,... Modern take on Japanese cuisine executed very well when it comes to presentation and taste. A few options from their signature bento box set to quick lunch meals or a longer but more expansive course (kaiseki-like). Love their rice with corn, cuttlefish and scallops laced with a subtle butter aroma - the sweetness of the rice and corn complementing the... More
