Very decent Japanese cuisine

One of those places you would not come purposely but staying in Park Hyatt Tokyo always visit and never regret! Nice place for lunch!

We stayed eight nights in the Park Hyatt. One night we were too tired to go out for dinner, so we asked the concierge if we could get into Kozue. They phoned and got us a table, and we went down to the restaurant. There were only a handful of other tables taken, so we probably could have skipped the... More

Very grand setting on the 40th floor of Park Hyatt next to Shinjuku, Tokyo. Best to take taxi as hotel not right next to the train station. Given positive reviews and Michelin star rating Kozue restaurant did not meet expectations. The staff were very polite however the waitress didn't speak good English and service was average for such a high-calibre... More

Just what you'd expect. Good quality Japanese food, fairly high prices, lovely skyline setting, nice place to eat.

A very authentic but also modern Japanese restaurant in Park Hyatt. We had a very good meal there. Good service also although we arrived a bit late. Tried to order sea cucumber but was (wisely we guess) advised against it - foreigners as we were. Good fun.

My wife and I dined here a few nights ago. Fabulous food, service and a great experience all round. The waitresses wore traditional kimonos which added to the experience.

Enjoyed this restaurant, staying in the hotel and made my way to it - it is a bit hidden away so you have to know where to go, it should be highlighted more. Staff are in traditional kimonos which is a nice touch and their English was decent. Tasting menus galore, hard to know which to pick when you don't... More

This was our introduction to Japan dining and I was pleased. Staff was very courteous, as per usual for Japanese, and although we did have a slight bump in our experience, it was swiftly hamdled by our waiter. (My wife was hesitant between two choices of fish, the waiter suggested she have the Flounder and in the end the bill... More

My husband and I just left this restaurant about 45 minutes ago. We had to stop at a supermarket on our way back so I could buy something to eat: I could not eat most of the dishes at the tasting menu. Most of them were just tasteless, but some were really bad, including the main course and the sashimi!... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighborhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
