Absolutely fanastic place. We stumbled on this place for lunch today. The miso flavoured with clams, the general helping of tempura pieces, the freshness of the seafood.. the list goes on re how impressive this place is. Not to be missed.

We were seeking a tempura only resturant and after reading the reviews, we decided to try this place. Tempura batter light and crisp, not at all greasy or oily. The seafood ( shrimp and sea eel) was fish market fresh, portions are just right. Good taste not salty.

We went there our last night in Tokyo, and definitely it was a great choice! We order a Spanish white wine called Antonio Barbadillo which is perfect for seafood. And we order a couple of tempura combos. Everything was spectacular! The tempura was super tasty; just one of the pieces was just ok. But overall an EXCELLENT place to eat... More

Visited for dinner after reading the great reviews, and sat at the bar watching the chefs make sushi and tempura. Ordered the standard Tempura fixed menu, and was not disappointed! The tempura was crispy, hot, and delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly, and there were english menus available with instructions on how to dress the tempura with salt and... More

This place was recommended by my hotel and then I also read the good reviews here on Tripadvisor. Found it without much trouble and then waited about 20 min in line for dinner (which I took as a good sign). Ordered the standard Tempura set menu and wish I had upgraded because it was SO good. Loved the card with... More

We visited here for a late lunch after heavy shopping at Isetan. It is a little confusing to enter as the door is closed and the awning hangs down so far it makes it not seem welcoming. Once in however it is very welcoming. There are English language menus and even a "How to" instruction card (see photo). The tempura... More

We are glad we tried this restaurant, but more so for the experience of sitting at the counter and watching the chefs make the tempura in front of us than for the food itself. The reviews below made us think this restaurant would forever redefine tempura for us. Well, it didn't do that, though the meal was good enough. We... More

Superb tempura - we visited the place twice at around 11.45am (before the lunch crowd) each time on different trips into Tokyo. Tried the different speciality lunch sets. We sat at the counter and could see all the "action" in getting our food done. The lunch sets were really well priced - we've tried the Special Tempura Zen set (Yen:... More

Delicious tempura dinner, reasonably priced in an old world setting. The "real deal." Definitely worth an evening.

Among many Tempura restaurants in Tokyo, Tsuna-hachi group of restaurants are probably the highest in quality/cost ratio. If you are the first time guest, you never hesitate to sit on a vacant seat and select the cheapest prix-fixe menu ( tell "course" menu to a staff). The chief in front of you will cook very fresh fishes and vegetables one... More
