French bistro

We had lunch here on a Thursday. Got table immediately and they have explained the menu with the specials. We have tried the express lunch and a 3 course set lunch. Tasty food, small portions, and price drink menu. Service was ok and fast. We were happy.

I went on a business dinner, and we got the 5 courses special set menu. Even though there was 5 courses, the quantity was just right and each course was a delight, very well balanced flavors and good quality products. Service was professional and nice A bit pricy of course for this exclusive set but worth it! Funny that my... More

We had 3 course set lunch. The service was impeccable. The food were delicious. Deserts were delectable. After our lunch we set out to find another nearby restaurant but we got lost and somehow return to Lugdunum. We asked one of the waiter for assistance. And would you believe this? He took us all the way to this other restaurant... More

We visited for lunch during a weekday, and we were blown away by the food, the service, and the value for the level of cuisine. 25 USD for a 3 course meal at a Michelin star restaurant is unheard of in the States, though I imagine it's more common in Tokyo. The food was relatively specialized to the Lyon region... More

Authentic French Cuisine, very creative chef, attention to detail, high-quality seasonal ingredients, professional and friendly service, great location, extensive wine selection and all for a very reasonable price (less than 5000 JPY dinner course menu)... This restaurant has it all, one of my favorite in Tokyo.

Great French decor and welcoming staff. We were ushered to a front table under the cast iron spiral staircase, one of many items imported from Lyon to decorate the restaurant. Had to watch your head to get past it, but a nice outlook! While waiting they served a nice crusty light rye sourdough baguette in a mini calico bag. And... More

I decided to have a lunch in this Michelin star French style Tokyo restaurant and was lucky to get a seat without reservation on Sunday. It is five minute walk from JR Iidabashi Station, but I failed to find it right away, being confused by the map available at the restaurant website. The map does not show all the streets.... More

I visited this restaurant on 3 May 2013 and ordered a set lunch priced at Yen 2850. When I was served with a basket of bread, I asked for some butter to go with it. At the end, Yen 350 (plus 5% tax) was added to the bill for that little piece of butter. It's quite mean for them to... More

There's never enough time to try all the different types of restaurants in Tokyo, but this is one of our favorites. If you don't get the chance (such as us) to go to France as often as you would like, this restaurant does a very good job of taking you back to authentic mouthwatering cuisine. Importantly, the place is not... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighborhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
