An interesting coffee concept

As a purveyor of a good cup of coffee, I had to make this trip following my friends' recommendation. Nestled in the residential area behind Omotesando Hills, it is a great place to check if you're a coffee enthusiast!

If you are in the area then this is worth a visit, especially if you're a coffee lover or a design conscious traveller. I'd recommend using Maps to help you (you don't need data, just pre download/view Tokyo when you have wifi). Very limited seating, I.e. A bench in the courtyard but the neighbourhood is lovely so I just ordered... More

The coffee is really good here. Don't miss this if you are coffee lover. The place is small and more for takeaway. There is only a small bench in the small garden area. As it's hard to locate, it's useful to have google maps. Staff is friendly and speaks english.

Have a great coffee in a traditional house, it would be a hard to find the pace but it is totally woeth it, they take into account everything, they will serve the exact amount of the sugar so you don't spoil the coffee. Machiatoo is the best one, and some small bread you can have if you arrive early.

not an easy location to find unless you have the aid of google maps. shop is hidden in some vegetation in the residential neighbourhood. its near the famous tonkatsu restaurant. this shop is just a coffee counter with only one barista. it may take some time if the queue is long. menu is simple with english translation. barista speaks very... Great coffee, a must go for everyone who loves coffee! Visited twice for the iced latte, the place is the next lane behind the famous tonkatsu restaurant, Maisen.

Order the iced coffee (latte if you want milk). It was great on a hot day. This kind of shop would not have been out of place in Australia!

Amazing cappuccino. Enough said. It's also quite beautiful. It is in a residential neighborhood, so look for a small garden.

May be hard to find unless you have a maps on your phone but you won't regret it. Perfect place to head to after visiting the shopping paradise Omotesando street, this place is on one of the side streets on Roppongi hills. Take a leisure walk on the side streets admiring the small cafes, boutiques, quiet streets and that occasional... More

This is hands down the best coffee we had in our time in Japan. Coming from Australia, we're pretty fussy with our coffees, and this stood up and said "DRINK ME!". The lovely owner was friendly, warm, and took time and care to craft each coffee. It was brilliant and I cant wait to get back and enjoy another brew... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
