A really good burger with the locals

One of the few times we deviated from traditional Japanese food while in Tokyo but it was worth it. The place was filled with locals, so some might argue this was one of the least touristy experiences we had. The cheeseburger was delicious however I didn't hear angel's singing like some of the... read more

I meant that in a positive way. For the life of me I can't remember where I've read about BLACOWS. Probably in a top ten burger joint article on FLIPBOARD or something. Nevertheless, the fact that these are wagyu burgers piqued my interest enough to try it out and forsake a trip to a ramen place for lunch. I opted... More

Without doubts Blacows has the best burger I ever ate, the staff is really nice, they try their best to communicate and make you feel comfortable. Amazing! Nothing else to say!

Ok, so if you're reading this you may be thinking "yeah looks like a pretty good"... Not even close, buddy. Blacows special was without a doubt the most heart wrenchingly beautiful burger I have ever tasted and bordered on a religious experience. Since leaving the restaurant and returning to my home land I have been struck with an unrelenting sadness... More

Good spot for lunch. Onion fries are too oily, I wouldn't recommend. I got avocado burger I feel sauce made it difficult to eat otherwise a must try if you want burgers on your Japan trip!

I'm not sure why people thing Blacows is so great. I'm really picky about my hamburgers and this is not one of the better ones I've had. I think they salt the meat and mix it in, making the meat tough. The meat has the flavor of a mix of beef and pork. The bun is a bit overly present... More

The hamburgers and sandwiches served here are really good. My boyfriend and I had 2 hamburgers & 1 steak sandwich. Their Wagyu beef patties were perfectly marinated and prepared. Blacows had good service too. Their waiter and waitress were very attentive and courteous. The waiter even took the effort to recommend me their best selling burgers. For hamburger lovers, I... My second time and it was amazing meat as always. This time I was fine with one burger and not like first time binging! Yummie

I've eaten a lot of good food in Tokyo the past two weeks. It truly is one of the great food destinations in the world. But what I would have never thought was one of the best things I ate would be HAMBURGER. Unbelievable indeed. Blacows named after the Black Cows used for their 100% Black Waygu beef patties. Located... More

Great ambience, great menu with a wide range of burgers to choose from, a range of extras to add to your burger. We got the burger with avocado and burger with chilli - both were excellent. Burgers also come with fries, but they are more like wedges, delicious nonetheless. Comparable to burgers you get in Australia.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighborhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
